I’m pretty impressed by how realistic this plant looks. It’s perfect for adding some green to the dark corner on top of my refrigerator, and I’d like to get more to place in the less visible areas of my home to complement my real plants. I am glad that I had a pot sitting around to put it in, as the base isn’t exactly “finished looking.” I think a macrame hanger would also look great on this plant! Overall it’s very nice, especially since real ferns are so difficult for me to keep alive!

I definitely prefer real (live) plants, but Boston Ferns can be SO messy. I love the look of a Boston Fern, so decided to try an artificial one instead of a live plant. This artificial fern is actually really nice! QUALITY This plant is well made, and from a short distance, I really think it looks real. The quality is definitely better than other artificial plants I've seen. LEAVES The leaves are made of a soft plastic material and are detailed on the tops and bottoms. The coloring varies throughout the leaves, so that makes them look more real, as well. The maidenhair leaves also look real. KOKEDAMA BALL The kokedama vine ball is nice, but not as realistic as the fern leaves. Again, from a distance, it looks real enough for me. SIZE The size of this plant is the perfect size for the area I am using it in. It's thick and lush and really adds that pop of green to the room. I do recommend this artificial plant. You won't be disappointed!

This is really cute, great size, and totally believable as a real life plant. The only thing is the stronger musty odor; when I opened it, I wondered if I'd made a mistake and gotten some sort of preserved plant! It came with a silica gel packet, but it might need some airing out. I left in a hallway overnight, and in the morning, the hall had a faint smell like when you step into the kitchen and realize you forgot to run the garbage disposal in the sink. Put it out in the sun if you can, to ventilate it. On the other hand, a lot of plastic plants come out smelling like plastic fumes, so this is no different in a way. Perhaps try sprinkling with baking soda if you can't leave outside? I haven't tested this! I think it's a little expensive generally, and pricey to be a bit put off by the smell and caretaking. But it is really beautiful!

I am not sure what this is made of, but it even smells like a rainforest when it’s taken out of the plastic wrapping! I think it looks great when it’s set up on top of a shelf or somewhere a little greenery is needed (which in my mind is everywhere). I set it in a small basket and have it placed on top of a bookshelf, and unless you picked it up and inspected it really closely, I think it passes for a real plant quite easily. Dusting it off every few months should be easier than caring for a real plant as well.

There’s a real attempt to imitate a living fern here, but it’s still a plastic plant. The “root ball” covered in dried vines is a nice touch, so all you really need to do is plunk it down in an appropriately-sized planter or basket. I had planned to put it in a hanging basket on my deck for the winter months but decided to avoid vine-rot and instead placed it up on a high ledge inside, where it looks ok. No watering needed, just occasional dust removal!

This arrived with good protective packaging. The color and shape are realistic (it looks fake but not glaringly obvious) as well as how some of the fronds come out of the side of the root ball. Some of the “root ball” pieces shed but it’s still less messy than a real plant and WAY less fussy than a fern. I put this in a hanging pot that used to hold a real plant and it fills it out well enough though I’d probably look for a larger plant if I switch it out again. I like that the bottom of the plant looks natural too not just the top which gives more flexibility for moving it to different pots around my house

This is a great artificial fern from Blanca Rosana. With some small adjustments and fluffing of the leaves after unboxing and putting in a nice pot it looks great and passes from a distance. I love ferns and wanted to add some greenery to my bedroom and this does the trick perfectly! I am happy with it and recommend it as a good choice for an artificial plant.

The realism of fake plants is so hard to tell from the photos on Amazon. I've gotten some good ones, but I've also gotten some real stinkers. I can safely say, this is on the more realistic side. From about 2 feet away, this looks very realistic. You have to be within a foot of it to really tell it's plastic. The reason why I only give it 4 stars is this. The fern has two different types of leaves, but they aren't mixed together well. One type is on one half, and the other type is on the other half. You can pull some of them out, but others are glued in. With enough force, you can even pull out the glued in pieces and stick them back into the styrofoam, but really shouldn't be too hard to get this done at the factory. Could have been a really good product, but because of the poorly thought-out assembly, it is a 4 star item.
