The casual sneakers have an additional midsole made of polyurethane (PU) and cork to ensure optimum shock absorption. It also features a breathable microfiber lining for a comfortable foot climate. The upper is made of high-quality, soft natural leather. Removable, anatomically shaped cork-latex footbed. Lace-up closure. Round toe design. Rubber outsole. Made in Portugal.

Super cute shoe and will match with any outfit that you pair them with. At 52 I started wearing Birkenstock Arizona sandals. I fell in love and literally do not stop wearing them. I live in Minnesota so imagine my excitement when I found sneakers by my favorite shoe maker. I just had to find them online. The price tag of 200$ plus was not in my budget. I finally found this on Amazon in my sandal size of 37 at 74$. SUPER EXCITED!!! They arrived yesterday, so I tried them on and loved the feel on my foot, because well I’m old and I have planter fasciitis. I stood up and they were short. My toe touched the end of the toe box. The toe box is wide with plenty of room for the width of your foot. I have a normal wide foot, so if you have an extra wide foot they will probably be to tight. The weight of the shoe is similar to the sandal. Shoe construction is solid and sturdy the sole is just like the sandals. Since I love this shoe so much, I searched Amazon for the next size up and found them at 120$ along with the beige color canvas low bend at 140$. I’m probably crazy for ordering both , but now I’d get two for the price of one from the Birkenstock website. Birkenstock lovers this is a great shoe but shop wise, you don’t have to pay that 200$ plus price tag for a shoe that you love. ... show more

I was in love with my new sneakers. I love my feet in Birkenstock sandals and needed a sneaker for an occasion. I put them on and was instantly in love! I told everyone how amazing they were but within 2 hours of walking in them, the cork started coming out of one of the shoes which was so weird because I have several sandals and it never happened with the sandal. After about 15 more minutes walking, the entire inside of the cork had fallen out and now my heel was pushing onto the shoe liner and was no longer supported. It sucks. The seller is taking them back for. Refund but it’s not even about that. The idea of this shoe had me so happy and I’m super disappointed and sad it didn’t work. ... show more

Wow! They fit! I am pleasantly surprised with the Birkenstock sneaker. After MANY foot surgeries the only shoes I can wear pain free are Birkenstock sandals—so I am constantly searchIng for anything other than a sandal. These sneakers are super cute, they are relatively comfortable, have good arch support, are just a tad stretchy but still offer enough support without causing pain. I won’t wear them for long periods of time or for walking long distances but they work well enough for going out to eat, running a few errands, etc….They also help me feel a little ‘fashion current’ and not ‘old lady convalescence home Velcro close-ish’. Just take a minute to look up “comfort shoes” and you will see exactly what I mean! 😋 ... show more

I liked the product (white bend low) but recieved wrong size (I ordered 40, but received a size 41) so it was huge. Also came in a plain/unmarked brown shoe box, with contents hastily arranged/looking all askew, and shoe was scuffed and possibly worn. Returned! Ordered from birks website directly.

So far these shoes are doing what I'd hoped: not adding further to my problem feet. They're cut like Birkenstocks, and my toes have lots of room -- nice! My husband actually thinks they're cute; they do look a little like baby shoes. : ) I like the look, plus the quality of all-leather shoes. Worth the $ outlay; may buy more in different colors if the comfort continues. ... show more
