These are good sandals. Be sure to go to the Birkenstock website and study the sizes, including the downloadable sizing diagram, if you have not worn these before. The quality and construction remain great as it has for years. My only complaint is that these sandals run rather wide, even the narrow ones which I ordered. This can be compensated somewhat by drilling an additional hole in the straps to make them tighter. For best fit Birkenstock should make these in a narrow (A/B), medium (C/D) and wide (E). My usual shoe size is 11 1/2 A (mens). I bought the 45 Narrow, which fits like a men's 11 1/2 C. Since these are unisex, most women will certainly want the narrow. Even men with a medium width foot will do best with the narrow, too. ... show more

    • The greatest comfortable shoes!
I love the Birkensstock shoes because some of them come in a children's narrow. When you have a very small foot to go with your short body, it is wonderful to have great shoes that fit and that are impossible to find except through the German shoes, they are made well and last forever especially if you are Middle Age and you don't out grow them. Came way faster than expected. I wear a women's size 8, so according to the chart I should be a size 39. But all the reviews told me to go a size down, so I ordered a 38. Perfect fit!! I'm so happy I went a size down. If you're not sure, definitely go down a size! Love love these shoes!

These shoes are over 120.00 at the trendy little college shoe shop near Arizona State University! Then you add our ridiculous 9-point-something-percent sales tax and I'd consider myself financially raped! I bought these to replace a similar set I had for at least 6 years... maybe 8. I use them as house shoes so that I always have comfortable arch support when walking on our tile floors. When ordering be aware there is a narrow sizing and a normal width option. I was glad to benefit from the improved fit of the narrow option for my skinny little feet : ) They fit better and become more comfortable the longer you wear them. ... show more

I bought these over three years ago and am now a hardcore believer in Birkenstock. So comfortable! They've lasted so long, I'm just now buying my second pair and will be making my first pair the "around the house" sandal. They're the only shoe that completely eliminates my foot/back pain. It's awesome. My only recommendation before buying these online is going into a store and getting your foot properly fitted to the style you want since the sizing can be weird for new Birkie people. Once you get them they take a few days to break in/mold to your foot but after all that you'll love them forever. Get these! ... show more

I purchased this pair of shoes for my grandson in mid August. He has only worn them a handful of times and the sole of the shoe is already coming apart. Not the quality I expected!! VERY DISAPPOINTED. I wish I could either get a refund or another pair....I WILL NOT PURCHASE from this vendor again!!

Had bunion surgery in May and Doc told me... "...NO more heels... NO tight shoes... wear a shoe which cradles your foot... NOT binds it..." So... these Arizona Birkies are just what the Doc ordered. The pleasure is in the walking!!! Too bad I cannot use their cost as a medical deduction!
