My family loves Birkenstocks—they are great shoes. I bought these for my son and bought the blue color so he and my husband can tell their shoes apart. The blue color is cute and different than the usual brown or black that men wear.

I love the comfort and style of these sandals. The length is as expected but they run very wide. My foot is slightly wider than average-- I don't typically buy wide width, but find certain brands and styles are too narrow for my foot. Not with these! I bought the medium width and have them in the tightest spot, but I'm thinking as they wear they may loosen further. I'm thinking the Narrow width may have been a better choice.

The Birkenstocks I ordered were size, 14 US. The Birkenstocks I received were size, 12 US. I really wanted to love these. I am just ⚠️warning⚠️ you now do not buy from "THE GREAT DEAL". The product was used which may indicate a previous return, for the same reason. The box was in bad shape as well. The reviews were accurate even in 2023, and some reviews from 2022 stating the same thing happening to them. I was hoping to get lucky, however you will not get lucky. Amazon puts a size 14 barcode on these size 12 shoes. Not sure who to blame here. However, seems this is only happening on orders from "THE GREAT DEAL". To Amazon: I know you guys are busy. However, shoes did not come on time. A mere 4 days later after they were expected to be delivered. The positives... The shoes seem to have fantastic arch support. Straps are very nice and make it easy to adjust, and secure to your 👣 preventing any blistering from happening.

I've been getting Birkenstock sandals for a number of years and mostly buying them at a store, they've been stiff and taking some time to wear in. I remember the first pair I being extremely comfortable, but others have not been. The ones I bought from Amazon seemed to come directly from the manufacturer and had a different labeling and shoe box from ones I have bought in stores and are the comfort that I remember.
