Overall, we're really happy with the 7' Artificial Palm Tree. The instructions were somewhat baffling, but pulling up the picture from the listing made it easy to see what needed to be done. (Insert the large, lighter colored leaves in the very top. with the tops of the leaves facing inward and the undersides of the leaves facing out. Add in all the large dark green leaves in the same orientation working from the tallest stems down. Finally add in the very smallest leaves at the shortest stems around the outside. Bend leaves.) We found the size and look very much in keeping with other artificial plants at a similar price point. It's got *lots* of leaves and overall very nice, thick foliage! In fact, at one point, my husband was standing there with a last large leaf and couldn't figure out where it went because the tree was so thick and full we couldn't figure out where one more leaf could even fit! We did find it and there were exactly the right number of leaves and stems. The leaves adjusted easily and, while it took a little trial and error, we were able to get it into just the right shape that fits our space and looks nice. The reasons I took off one star. The tree says "7 feet", but there's no way any portion of it could have been measured 7' from the base to the top of the very tallest leaves. With some leaves pointing straight up, it *is* a little more than six feet, and once the leaves were spread and bent into place, the whole thing was a full, generous six feet overall. I think this *is* in keeping with listings for other similar artificial plants. They do almost universally suggest a height that is above any possibly measure... And we expected it to be less than 7 feet. The other reason is that the base is simply too small -- too light and too narrow -- to support the tree. No amount of adjustment would make it secure standing on its own on the tiny base. You'll need to plan either to prop it with nearby furniture or set the little pot inside a larger, heavier one of your own. But generally, this is a nice-looking tree and a good value for the size and authentic look!

RECOMMENDATION: Thumbs up: This is a pretty tall plant with very large leaves, so be sure that fits your space THE GOOD: 1. Good looking fake plant. Not perfect but pretty good overall. 2. Both the shoots that leaves attach into and the body of the leaves themselves have a metal core so are bendable and poseable. You do need to arrange these after unpacking and assembling to provide volume to the plant. Note the pictures for before and after. 3. The leave shoots look OK, I would rate them a ‘B’. Unfortunately, this is one of the weakest parts I have noticed for a lot of artificial plants 4. Assembly is pretty quick and easy – sub 5 minutes. THE BAD: 1. Overall plant stability is not exceptional – you will probably want to put this into a larger pot both for looks and to make it more stable. 2. The leaves were mis-manufactured in that too much plastic was placed onto the wires coming out of the leaves, like it ran down when it was hot similar to candle wax. This will inhibit being able to fully push the leaves into the corresponding stems in the base. I had to cut off this extra plastic for about half of the leaves. In addition, the wire on some of the leaves was too long and had to shorten it with wire cutters to get the leaves to install correctly. Not hard to do but best to be aware of this. 3. The base is average sized for a fake plant of this size, which means that it is undersized. It is the typical black plastic and mine was dented in on one side and could not get it to correct itself. That is OK for me as I won’t use it without putting it into a better looking pot. 4. There was a fake moss sprayed onto the top of the pot, but it is not very realistic looking – probably the worst fake moss I have seen so far. 5. Where the leaves attach to the shoots is probably the least visually appealing part of the plant, which is typical. See pictures.

I’m so impressed with this Artificial Palm Tree! It looks incredibly realistic—much better than I expected for a faux plant. The 4-foot height is perfect for adding a touch of greenery to my living room, and the adjustable branches let me customize the shape to suit my space.
