    • Great Die cut machine
I am very happy with this 6" die cutting and embossing machine. The best thing is that it is adjustable, it folds up and the handle is removable for transporting it. No more guessing what shim to try. The only thing I don't like is the longer platform, I just don't need the extra length. They are now making a shorter platform and cutting plate set of 3. They have also come out with a magnetic platform and cutting plate set of 4 which I did buy and I am very pleased with it. The magnetic plate set is sold as a replacement for the Magnetic cutting machine.....(But that one doesn't fold up or adjust.) You do have to use the adjustments to use the magnetic plates with this machine but that is the best part, it is easy to adjust and it cuts great. It is a little heavier than I expected but that is because it is metal inside. That is a good thing. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone looking for a good all around machine. ... show more

Just what I was looking for! I was looking for a die cut machine to cut thin cut dies. This machine is reasonably priced and does a perfect job. I love that it folds up. When using the machine, it has suction cups on the bottom to make sure it dies the move. The suction cups release when you fold the sides back up. I choose this machine because of the positive reviews it got, but most of all the price. It is lower priced than other machines and works great. This dye cutter and embossing machine machine is fabulous for up to 6" wide! The side panels can be used for storage. Only 2 plates to work with make it easy to learn a new craft. It is wonderful that the sides fold up for a very small storage footprint. Great value and works as well as the big, heavy machines! Easy to pack and go! ... show more

    • Excellent cutting machine
I first bought a smaller machine from another company, but I had a hard time cutting, and the possibilities were limited. After checking different models, I decided to buy the Bira. I am a beginner but I was immediately able to get beautiful results. I am looking forward to trying new dies.

    • Makes Embossing Folders easy to use
Very nice machine because of the adjustability dials. Don't have to figure out what plates to use, there is only the one set. I like for almost all of my folders and dies. I didn't give it 5 stars because there are a few dies that I have that need a soft/flexible embossing pad to give them dimension, which is not included with this machine. ... show more

    • Bought the “new” but damaged box.
This item was not “new” with a damaged box. When I opened the box there was no instructions as indicated and when I put it together there was what looked like blood on the handle. And there was scraps of paper in the box as well. Other than that the machine works after I sterilized it.
