Description

Perfect for carrying a multitude of cards, the sleek Big Skinny Card Holder wallet can be filled with up to 25 full-size plastic cards plus cash. It features an ID pocket with a clear plastic window for easy access to your driver's license or work badge, an interior pocket for frequently used cards, a smaller interior pocket for extras and a large catch-all accordion pocket for additional cards, receipts, photos and more. The extra-wide pockets are lined with a rubbery coating to prevent cards from slipping out. Designed with rounded corners for comfort, it's constructed of a lightweight, water resistant nylon microfiber material that is 5 to 7 times thinner and lighter than leather. It's machine washable for easy care and it dries out in about 20 minutes. The Card Holder wallet measures 4 x 2-3/4 Inch. The first Big Skinny wallet was designed by Kiril Stefan Alexandrov (the company's founder) because he loathed sitting on a thick, heavy leather wallet. A little bit of a different take on a wallet. The idea is, if you mostly use cards -- ID, credit cards, library card, etc. -- then why do you need a full-blown wallet? Also, why do you need an individual slot for each card? Why not just put them all together? Has four compartments: Outside, a clear slot for ID; inside, one accordian-type pocket, one slot for 1-2 cards, another slot for 4-5 cards Pros: * Much slimmer than a regular wallet. Would be easy to fit in a front pocket if you were so inclined. * Cash fits; you just fold it in half * Made of what seems like pretty durable nylon * Accordian-style construction means that the main pocket will expand or contract to fit cards. Fully loaded, fits much more than you would think. * Internally, has some texture, so cards don't fall out willy-nilly * Could hold some change, SD card etc in a pinch Cons * Maybe not as manly as a leather wallet * Small logo stitched to the front. Don't like how cheap and flimsy it is. I guess I didn't need all the room that it has because my credit cards and ID's fall out of it. By far the best wallet I have ever owned. It is incredibly thin, sturdy material, and disappears in your pocket. I currently have 24+ credit cards and business card in mine and it is still about 30% thinner that a standard leather wallet with half the card. No complaints. IF this wallet ever wears out, I will be buying a replacement. The only thing I am not too keen on is the rubber logo stitched into the wallet. As advertised, the card holder is very thin, yet seems very strong. We'll see in several months how well it withstands the back pocket test. The card holder pockets might be a bit large if only putting one or two cards in a pocket, but I have not experienced any problem with them falling out. My previous wallet's card pockets were exceedingly tight and I haven't gotten used to a looser pocket. Not a complaint - just an observation. The entire card holder, with 3 plastic cards, driver's license, and a couple or paper notes in it is thin, small, and pliable enough to slip into a front pants pocket and not be a problem when sitting. Exactly what I was looking for - slim wallet capable of holding the various cards, coupons, cash, etc. that I use. ID is easy access through the windowed pocket. Material is sturdy and thinner than leather. I expect will hold up to normal wear and tear.

i've been seeking out a good, thin wallet for awhile now. i came across big skinny and was intrigued. i don't carry many cards so i opted for this model. i think it does a good job at staying thin. the only issue i came across was holding cash. i don't carry cash much, so it's not a big deal but you have to fold cash a couple times to get it to fit. obviously, the more you fold, the thicker it gets. not a big deal for two 20s, but one you break them and have 5 or 6 bills, it gets noticeable. i like the id pocket on the outside, helps keep it thin. i really love the big pocket, holds all your "stuff" wonderfully. i also tried the sport compact since it's side to side but it doesn't offer as many card slots and i don't like digging for my cards. i went back to this model mainly due to the thin factor and that wonderful big catch all pocket. i would love to see them make this model in a leather version. that would make it a 5 star wallet. tl;dr great wallet. thin, awesome big pocket. wish it came in leather. ... show more
