Description

Perfect for carrying a multitude of cards, the sleek Big Skinny Card Holder wallet can be filled with up to 25 full-size plastic cards plus cash. It features an ID pocket with a clear plastic window for easy access to your driver's license or work badge, an interior pocket for frequently used cards, a smaller interior pocket for extras and a large catch-all accordion pocket for additional cards, receipts, photos and more. The extra-wide pockets are lined with a rubbery coating to prevent cards from slipping out. Designed with rounded corners for comfort, it's constructed of a lightweight, water resistant nylon microfiber material that is 5 to 7 times thinner and lighter than leather. It's machine washable for easy care and it dries out in about 20 minutes. The Card Holder wallet measures 4 x 2-3/4 Inch. The first Big Skinny wallet was designed by Kiril Stefan Alexandrov (the company's founder) because he loathed sitting on a thick, heavy leather wallet. Since creating the original Sport Wallet in 2005 using an advanced nylon micro-fiber material (5 to 7 times thinner than leather), Big Skinny has added dozens of slim wallet styles for men and women with more on the way.

A little bit of a different take on a wallet. The idea is, if you mostly use cards -- ID, credit cards, library card, etc. -- then why do you need a full-blown wallet? Also, why do you need an individual slot for each card? Why not just put them all together? Has four compartments: Outside, a clear slot for ID; inside, one accordian-type pocket, one slot for 1-2 cards, another slot for 4-5 cards Pros: * Much slimmer than a regular wallet. Would be easy to fit in a front pocket if you were so inclined. * Cash fits; you just fold it in half * Made of what seems like pretty durable nylon * Accordian-style construction means that the main pocket will expand or contract to fit cards. If you are looking for a thin, lightweight credit card holder with a exterior visible pocket for your driver's license, this is the ticket. This is the second Big Skinny wallet that I have used and find it to be the perfect size to hold 10-12 credit cards or other identification cards, and it fits nicely in my back pocket with no bulge or discomfort when sitting. ... show more

i've been seeking out a good, thin wallet for awhile now. i came across big skinny and was intrigued. i don't carry many cards so i opted for this model. i think it does a good job at staying thin. the only issue i came across was holding cash. i don't carry cash much, so it's not a big deal but you have to fold cash a couple times to get it to fit. obviously, the more you fold, the thicker it gets. not a big deal for two 20s, but one you break them and have 5 or 6 bills, it gets noticeable. i like the id pocket on the outside, helps keep it thin. i really love the big pocket, holds all your "stuff" wonderfully. i also tried the sport compact since it's side to side but it doesn't offer as many card slots and i don't like digging for my cards. i went back to this model mainly due to the thin factor and that wonderful big catch all pocket. i would love to see them make this model in a leather version. that would make it a 5 star wallet. tl;dr great wallet. thin, awesome big pocket. wish it came in leather. ... show more

I'm finally needing to replace mine. Very sturdy. Nice & slim for the front pocket. But eventually the rubberized lining is wearing out so it is not as water resistant - like I'd put anything in a wallet I needed to keep dry. By far the best wallet I have ever owned. It is incredibly thin, sturdy material, and disappears in your pocket. I currently have 24+ credit cards and business card in mine and it is still about 30% thinner that a standard leather wallet with half the card. No complaints. IF this wallet ever wears out, I will be buying a replacement. The only thing I am not too keen on is the rubber logo stitched into the wallet. I ordered a replacement for the Big Skinny card holder slim wallet that I had been using since 2011. My 8 year old Big Skinny wasn't "worn out" but was beginning to show some signs of aging. I actually carry 38 cards in my case including several forms of ID. My old Big Skinny is now semi-retired - organizing business cards in the glove compartment of my truck.
