I have been buying this particular Skort and the one exactly like it with the stretchy material since my daughter started school in pre-k. She is on the autism spectrum and highly sensitive to what materials she wears. I started with a 4t, and with the inside adjustable band, I’ve only had to get her 3 different sizes now!!! 4t, 6x, and now 8. She’s in the 4th grade and almost 10 years old. She loves them, the wash excellently, and if you take them straight from the dryer and hang up, there’s no ironing. It’s a cute skirt. I am 4”11 and got a size 16 as I wear XS in women’s. It’s a bit long (meant for kids) but I cut the skirt about half way and hemmed it just to fit right. Bought it for my cocktail waitressing job, the waist fit just right and a bit high waisted. The material is great.

This skort is very nice. I bought a size 12. My daughter is 8 a little on the thicker side. I usually get her size 10 in other brand bottoms. This 12 has room and it’s not short like it looks in the picture. It comes right above her knees and she’s about 4’2”

Ordered a size 7 - a size 6X was sent (not sure if it was a mistake or they consider a 6X a size 7). We ordered two sizes, a 7 and an 8. The 8 is on the big side - but luckily can be adjusted in the waist. The size “7” could not be zipped. Big size gap between a “7” and 8. Absolutely love this skirt. It fits perfectly. It holds it's pleats very well. Made of a very soft material, but stiff enough to make the figure look tidy. The buttons are just for show. Has a pair of shorts underneath, so technically it is a skort. The shorts are made of what feels like spandex. They could be cut out easily enough.
