I have ordered several wireless PS4 controllers recently trying to find one that works well for my needs and this one finally checked all my boxes. It works on PC, it works on Switch and it works on PS4. First, the functionality: This controller is immediately recognized in Windows and connects without any issues. It works perfectly in Steam and the buttons all work as expected. They can also be remapped as needed for different games. Another controller I had didn't work wirelessly with windows but this one is flawless. It will also work as a wired controller if you need it to. The audio jack works on PC whether it is wired or whether it is wireless connection. Also, the programmable buttons are a great addition that allows button combinations to be saved for quick maneuvers in-game. There are specific button combinations to press to get the controller to connect to Windows, to Switch and to Steam deck. This way it has the specific protocols necessary to connect to these different devices. Second, the size and feel: This controller is not too small like another one I got. It feels comfortable in my hands and I can reach all the buttons for easy use. I love how it feels while I'm gaming and the grip is comfortable and ergonomic. It's not a sticky rubber but rather a textured grip on the bottom of the controller that makes it easy to hang on to and doesn't get sticky or slippery. Third, the LED detail lights on the controller are great. you can change the color or the lighting mode with button combinations on the controller. If you prefer, you can turn the lighting all the way off and just enjoy the controller without any lighting. Overall it is a great controller that checks all my boxes and has the full range of functionality I've been looking for in a controller for a long time. The wireless audio function works great so there's never any worry about audio when you're not close to the console. By far the best wireless controller I've used to date.

This wireless controller for PS4 is substantial so and sturdy. The ergonomics are fantastic to fit medium and large hands. It is shaped more like an Xbox 360 controller. They are known for being comfortable to use. This one may be even better than that, but is definitely more comfortable than a standard PS4 controller. Visually, the controller is striking. The backlit graphic design is bright without being too bright, so it does not distract from gameplay. It just looks really cool. Unfortunately there is no option to turn the lights off. Functionally, the controller is not without fault. The battery life is not bad but could be better, so keeping it well charged is a concern. I did experience slow response on right stick, but it was only when playing one particular game during one particular play session, and it has not occurred again. I question as to whether the remote had been charged enough. In general the buttons, paddles and joysticks are very responsive and well placed for quick gameplay. The remote features extra paddles on the underside. I attempted to use the included manual to figure out how to program them, but the English translation section was not well done and I was unable to find the information I was looking for. The manual in general is hard to understand. These are extra paddles though, so it is by no means a deal breaker. Overall, I am quite pleased with this controller and may consider ordering another. Good buy.

I never had a PS4. I made the life-altering decision to jump from PlayStation to Xbox and after doing so, my PS3 controller felt like the cheapest, crummiest, loosest controller ever, despite being an official controller in great shape. I bought this with the hopes it would make me feel comfortable playing my PS3 games again. I was told it was possible certain buttons might not function and I shouldn't have my hopes high trying to make a PS4 controller work on a PS3. I think I was lied to, OR MAYBE I have a very good third party controller here! The sticks feel great. They don't feel too loose and I can move around with ease. All of the buttons are perfectly responsive. I tested this on a game I know very well and was very happy with its performance. The controller feels sturdy and well made. The D-Pad feels a little strange, it's not shaped the same as what you'll have on a regular PS3 controller but it works perfectly fine. The lights are a nice touch, very pretty. I'm not sure how people who will use this with a PS4 would feel, but I'm very happy with it as a replacement PS3 controller. For $23.99 it seems like an excellent deal. It comes with a short USB cable, I will probably buy a longer one later but all I had to do was plug that into the controller and the PS3. Then the controller was good to go. Based off of my first impressions, I think this controller is a safe bet. I'm going to play around with it a while longer and I will update this review if my opinion changes.

I had been looking forward to this controller, it's a nice looking controller, I thought it had potential. The moment I got it I tried setting it up, at first it lit up then just...died so I figured it was because it needed to charge up, it didn't charge or turn on. It just didn't work at all. So I'm not sure if it was during packaging or what but it seemed to just not work. I left it to charge overnight and all to see if it would turn on. Nothing.

I needed a controller after my last one broke, so I thought I would give this one a try. It connected to my Windows 11 PC without any issues and also works on my phone. I like that I can map out the buttons differently for various games too. I have tested it on several FPS and driving games on both the PC and the phone (using both digital installs and Steam) and everything works as it should. The controller is perfectly sized for my hands as well and feels comfortable. The joysticks feel good and are responsive without being too responsive, and the buttons too. And while a lot of people seem to like the LED features of controllers like this, I prefer no lights, so it is great that not only can you switch between lighting modes, but you can shut them off altogether, which my last one couldn't do. Great controller for a decent price.
