I have wanted a dress form for over 30 years. I finally convinced my husband to buy me this for Christmas. I was able to adjust it almost perfectly to my measurements. I could use a little extra padding for the bus line, but otherwise the shoulders, back, waist and hips are pretty close to perfect. It’s lightweight and a little wiggly, but otherwise reasonably sturdy if you’re careful. The body of it lifts off the stand very easily. The hem measuring piece was a nuisance, so I took it off and threw it away. The important part is that I could get the measurements to match my body because that’s why you have a dress form.

I’m very pleased with this dressmaker dummy. For the most part, it was easy to put together and adjust to my measurements. I had a little trouble getting the waist to lengthen, but it just takes patience and strong hands to steady the extension while lining up the teeth before snapping into place. I’m looking forward to making a lot of dresses and trying out the hem tool.

Good delivery time and ok price (a bit on the over-priced side). It was easy to assemble and other reviews note the feet aren’t enough to brace the frame but I don’t find this to be an issue. It can be a little wobbly but that is from it’s top heavy and bulky structure sitting on a small pole (unavoidable in my opinion). Again, not too much of a defect. The adjustments are sticky and tricky to adjust accordingly. This makes it difficult to get measurements spot on...one of the primary reasons I upgraded to this model opposed to just getting a standard frame. I’m finding the biggest flaw is the body itself. It’s made of a semi padded, thick felt and is very difficult to slide garments on and off. My projects get “hung up” on the felt fabric and I have to spend an annoying amount of time re-positioning it to sit on the mannequin correctly to get a proper fitting. I’m trying to figure a way to smooth it out somehow....any suggestions? Bottom line is that it works well enough. It takes some getting used to and manipulating, but it works fine(not great, but good enough for what I need). I don’t LOVE it, but don’t regret buying it either.

These product is awesome and a must for seamstress type people. The condition is impeccable and the mannikin is made quite sturdy and sound. I was very pleased at the ease of use and ability to pin fabric and items to the mannequin.

First I didn't realize it was as lightweight as it was. I'd wish I'd gotten one with wheels. But this is a good product. Adjusting started out a little clumsy but after a little practice, all good.

I can't be mad. This dress form was insanely easy to assemble and is very light weight. It has a ton of knobs for adjusting, including torso lengthening. That being said the body material is pretty thin, so you're going to have some issues pinning unless you go in at an angle. The base is also all plastic, so be careful you don't damage them because it will not stand with only three legs. The knobs feel very sturdy and they lock in. You have to pinch the button to make them turn. I down graded maneuverability because the rod for the base does not snap into the body. So if you want to move it, you have to take it apart or try and balance it on the pole as you lift. I was able to grab this on sale, and I am content with the price I paid for the quality of the item.

Well packaged and everything in good form, with one exception. There are four leg supports that connect to the center post with a thick 3" tab that slots into the lower base. They are thick plastic with inner structural supports, which will hold up well to normal wear. However, on one of the legs, the tab has a crack across the top edge. The option to exchange is not offered, and purchasing a new one following a return will jump the price from the Prime Day deal I bought it with. A life-saver for garment construction. I uesd this dress form to aid in costume construction. As the play characters were not always available for fitings, the dress form was invaluable in helping make measurment adjustments. I have been sewing for over 50 years and never thought I had need of a dress form, until just recently. Took a little bit of practice to use the adjustment dials, but got the hang of it easily.
