Bought these for my '12 VW GTI. They are a little bit beefier than the oem tires and most tires of this size. What i mean by that is the sidewall is a little bit larger and the tires are a little bit heavier than other brands. With all of those things considered, these tires have a strong grip in dry traction and great grip in wet traction. Need more on stock, they have been the best reliable, tires i ever had. That aound like i am joking, had majority of performance tires and yet these babies stick.

This is a non compensated review. I bought a set of these BFG's after doing extensive research. First and foremost this tire is hands down the best performer in the wet. You can't put a price on the confidence a good tire gives you and these deliver. Performance in dry conditions is fantastic although this tire is a bit louder on the highway but the difference is negligible. I would not hesitate to recommend the Comp 2's. ... show more

    • Good traction and wear well, but louder than the All Terrain Tires on my truck
These tires have been very good for performance and seem to be wearing well, but they are so noisy I can't stand driving the car, especially on longer drives. My Nitto Terra Grappler G2s on my 4x4 truck are quieter than these are on my VW Golf. The droning him on the interstate is so annoying.
