Since downsizing from a house with a real, regular-sized kitchen to a 190-square-foot studio apartment with a kitchenette, I have had to get creative with my space and how I utilize every inch. This baker's rack has become my main pantry and small appliance storage. It has more or less "saved the day", and it's quite attractive as well! However, the price point is a wee bit on the high side for what it is, and the assembly of the product itself was not exactly the easiest. Initially, I did not have any issues with assembly. Toward the end, though, I had to replace multiple plastic pieces because the screws would not screw in entirely and then would become stuck midway. In fact, I ended up not being able to finish screwing the top shelf onto the frame on the left side because of this issue. Fortunately, it isn't exactly necessary since items sit on top of the shelf. But for the amount of money that is spent on the product, it should assemble in its entirety without the amount of frustration and issue that it caused. Overall, the product does its job and I love the way that it looks, but I would almost venture to call the assembly horrible and a huge pain in the you-know-what. The media could not be loaded. I love it. It was easy to assemble. It's sturdy and the rack that moves make it easy for me to reach that shelf without too much bending.

Took me abt an hour to put together. The instruction manual isn't very good. It comes with all the parts, a small wrench, an Allen wrench and a small screwdriver. (Not sure of why there is a screwdriver, because all the parts use both the wrenches.) But, the end product is something I'm very happy with. The shelf I put the microwave on is a tight squeeze (I have a HUGE 30 year old microwave. It fits very tight because of the power outlet cord that comes with this shelving unit. But, I squeezed it in there anyhow. I absolutely love that it has the power strip (which u can mount on either side of the unit for whatever works best in ur home) so I can plus in 3 appliances at the same time. It also has the power switch so u can turn off all the outlets so it doesn't suck up ur electric bill. ... show more
