This dress arrived yesterday, and surprised me in many ways. First, it didn’t look like much right out of the package, but when you put it on, wow! Although you will see some wrinkles in the pictures, that’s because they were shot right out of the mailer, before pressing. Once pressed, this is the type of fabric that no matter how you pack it, provided it isn’t for long, it won’t wrinkle. I have several dresses purchased on Amazon which are made of similar fabric, and they are the absolute best for travel. I roll them, pack them, and never have to press anything. Secondly, it fit me like it was made for me! No alterations necessary, not even with the length. Usually, off-the-rack dresses need shortening, but not this one. For fit reference, I am 5’5”, 118 pounds, 34DD, and the small is dead-on perfect. Your mileage may vary, however, on this score, and I find that good shapewear makes all the difference with this type of fabric, in order to achieve a smooth, uninterrupted line. However, be advised that any lumps or bulges that remain will become kind of focal. Third, there is so much detail on this dress that elevates it beyond the ordinary. I have attached pictures from the front and from each side, in order to demonstrate how intricately all the embellishments come together. They lie flat with no bulges, and the various directions of the soft pleats create interest and movement to the eye. These details are what make the dress stand out from the ordinary. The “magenta” color is really more like a fuchsia, as there is no degree of any purple hue to it at all, but for me, that’s not problematic, as it’s a color I love. Fourth, the give in this fabric makes for an exquisitely comfortable garment. It moves and flows with you as you walk, and the slit is reasonably modest, as is the front V-neckline, showing only a whisper of cleavage. Just the right dress for formal nights on cruises, sophisticated and dressy with a classic silhouette, but not over-the-top. Considering the price, this purchase is a major score!

This is a very forgiving style for a curvaceous body. The dress is super comfortable, and the fabric is not flimsy. The ruffles camouflage unwanted curves in the tummy area, and the dress hangs nicely over the backside. Such a great price, too. I’m very pleased with this purchase!

Such a pretty dress. If you carry weight in your midsection the front definitely camouflages it. The length is perfect. If you are short it will just skim the floor with heels on. Can't beat the price. I will definitely wear it again. It's great for formal nights on a cruise and it doesn't break the bank.

5'3" size small to medium is what I wear. This dress in a medium was quite large. It seems that the bust area is meant for larger bra sized women. Additionally, it is very long and drug on the floor. I did not exchange for a small size as I believe it would not have looked any better in the bust or would be shorter. Gorgeous green color and the material seemed solid.
