The item arrived as described with no issues. All safety seals were intact. The expiration date is 10/24. The capsules are average size about an inch, with no taste or smell. The service size is two capsules, a total of 180 capsules provided for a 90 day supply. Each serving contains 1500 mg of Berberine. The ingredient list is short only having three main ingredients and a vegetable cellulose capsule. The capsules are non-GMO, gluten-free and vegan. The product is also made in the US. Qualitatively, I had no adverse reactions while taking. I took them in the morning with and without food and with and without other supplements. They were easy to swallow with liquids. I do feel they were/are effective and beneficial to my cardiovascular, immune system health and aids with weight management. Overall, this is a great source of Berberine. This is a big tub. This was easy to take and didn't cause any digestive issues. I believe the formula is fairly potent. I stopped taking this after a week or so as I started getting cold sores on my lip. For someone that isn't susceptible to this issue would likely appreciate the potent formula.

I've been trying out adding Berberine as a supplement to my regiment and so far they appear to work as described, although it's only been a week and a half of usage. I kind of expected stomach discomfort but experienced none, although did get some bathroom "stimulation" when I took 2, just saying. I take 1 with my daily vitamin mix now. Not crediting berberine completely and not an expert on supplements, but the capsules are clean and have no smell, it's made in america and I've wanted to try it out for a while. My results may just be natural water loss and going to the gym twice a week, but I have noticed a slight boost with my weight (although it could just be continuing my diet and exercise routine). I'm also not a health expert that would be qualified to make any health claims from taking this product. Berberine bioactive compound that can be found in several plants. I have been taking berberine supplements for several years to fight my high cholesterol and was excited to try the Colloidal Gold Berberine supplement from the JOYLI store. According to the seller, the inclusion of colloidal gold enhances the bioavailability of the berberine supplement. Some people also believe that colloidal gold can help improve mood, focus, and mental clarity. It's important to note that the scientific community does not universally accept the inclusion of colloidal gold in food supplements, and more research is needed to better understand its potential benefits and mechanisms of action. I have been taking this supplement for a week and haven't noticed any adverse effects. According to my floor scale, this berberine supplement seems to work better than other brands. I am not really sure I can qualify as a reviewer on this supplement. I've only been using it recently. It seems to help with immune support, but I can't swear to it. They are capsules that you swallow and are quite large. As other reviewers have noted, the jar is large, so it is easy to get to the pills, which is nice. Obviously I can't speak for the effectiveness of these since it's going to take time. But for now, the experience with this brand is positive. The size of the pills are more than doable and the amount you get are as well. At least when compared with some of the others I've tried. Also, I didn't notice any excessive tastes when simply plopping them in and swallowing them. I also haven't have any aftertaste either immediately after or later on. Mind you, I have only taken two doses thus far. So as I continue to take them I'll be able to tell you if anything changes. ... show more
