  • Odorless Orange Oily Potion; With Tea Tree and Peppermint Oils
Somehow Benton managed to formulate this Let’s Carrot Multi Oil, to be near odorless even though it has tea tree and peppermint oils. Usually, peppermint oil is added as a fragrance ingredient or to give the user the sensation of tingling and cooling. In this case, it does neither. For someone with sensitive skin, I take pause, as peppermint can be sensitizing. And we know tea tree oil has a lot of medicinal topical benefits, but needs to be diluted (which in this multi oil blend, it is the second to last ingredient). I would highly recommend patch testing this oil blend before applying it liberally to your face and neck as there are a lot of other plant extracts in this beautiful orange colored (oil). It comes in a simple 1oz glass dropper bottle. And just because something is all-natural does not necessarily mean it is suitable for all skin types and use. Please see the included images of the packaging for complete ingredient information. Ultimately, I’m hesitant to use this on my face, because I have mature, congestion-prone, reactive, sensitive skin. But I have enjoyed using this on other parts of my body: hands, feet, cuticles. Oil doesn’t inherently create water or hydration in the skin. It acts as an occlusive to help seal in the moisture other skincare (like serums and moisturizers). So after I’ve washed and moisturized my hands or body, I will then apply a few drops of the oil to help seal it all in. Yes, you can still glean the nourishing benefits of the oil blend even when it is applied on top of your moisturizer. The Benton Let’s Carrot Multi Oil is of course oily, has no discernible fragrance, and most of the ingredients/chemicals (because everything is a chemical, even water) in this are fairly skin-friendly. I could do without some of the essential oils, so I wouldn’t say this is suitable for sensitive skin. But overall, it is a vanity-pretty, seemingly nourishing product worth trying. ... show more

  • Good product!
The first thing that I always look at with skincare products is the ingredient list (if available). So many contain good ingredients AND trashy fillers that are harmful for the skin. This product has nothing but good stuff, so I felt comfortable using it. The oil isn't so heavy it can't be worn in the daytime, but I use it nightly. It feels good and helps seal in moisture. It does not break me out. It's definitely a quality product and worth a try. ... show more

  • Really Good High Quality Oil
This is a very high quality oil that is good for the skin, hair, nails, and any other thing you can come up with where you might need a decent oil. This orange oil feels thinner than so many other oils, yet, it's also not so thin that it feels watery. Just the right viscosity. It's full of beta-carotene and vitamin E which are both very good for the skin. Do be aware though that because it is so rich, if you put it on your skin by itself, that part of your skin will stay oily feeling for a long time. Sometimes that's a great way to give your skin a really healthy oil treatment. Some may prefer to use this only for spot work, at night, or just a few drops mixed into a regular moisture cream to step it up a bit. This oil really helps to hydrate the skin and make it soft and silky feeling. Personally, because of the type of hair that I have, I wouldn't use it on my hair, but a few drops added to your favorite shampoo or conditioner would be very helpful for those with drier and more brittle hair, as well a dry scalps. I like to rub it along my finger tips and nails right before I apply nail polish. Not only does it help to condition the nails and cuticles, I'm less likely to end up with nail polish on the skin next to the nails. When it does get there, the oil makes it come off the skin almost right away. Nifty little trick I figured out many years ago. The price isn't bad ($20 today's price) for how good this oil is, as well as considering that you only need small amounts at a time. ... show more

  • Great lightweight oil
Benton Let's Carrot Multi-Oil I really like this light oil. It absorbs into skin almost instantly and leaves a gorgeous glow of healthy, hydrated skin. No discernible scent. It's great on its own for hands, cuticles and face. You can also add a few drops to lotions and creams you already use. Sometimes I'll apply it over a moisturizer if my skin feels unusually dry or I need to be outdoors in cold, windy conditions. Has not caused blemishes. Would repurchase. • Very nice thin oil
This is a very nice thin facial oil. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a residue on the skin. It can also be used to cut, or thin out foundation that is too thick, dried out, or even to make a tinted moisturizer. Doesn't have a noticeable fragrance, and is great for sensitive skin. I would recommend this oil. ... show more
