    • Great helmet for California weather
First, I won't go into the issue of the eight, or so, holes in the top of the helmet and how bad these are under the rain. I live in the California region and have no problem with a light breeze, light rain. Can't speak of harsher conditions. Now, to the helmet. It's a bit bigger than my other helmets (Torc T1 and a 3/4 helmet), but the weight feels about right and it's very comfortable. I really like the helmet and it has become the go-to helmet for my day-to-day. The visor does NOT fog up at all. Zero, not once ... while with my other ones I always have to open the shield at stoplights to let it bread and clear. Both the original clear shield and the darker visor replacement (additionally purchased) worked well. Overall very happy with the helmet: comfortable, doesn't fog-up, good protection, not too noisy. Something that I do want to mention is that I read in so many places that I should move up a size because they came a bit smaller (because of the padding). So, my head is at 58 cm, and based on the chart and these comments I went with the M/L size. Can't really complain with that desicion because it fits, but I have to say that I do find it a tad big, which leads be to write that it does come true to size. I could have ordered the M (57-58) and I'm sure it would have fitted a bit better. Having said that, the M/L does fit OK and it leaves room for a bandana, or winter gear. ... show more

Love this Helmet. I'm a helmet nut got a few lol. (8) This helmet is cool looking think 70's Indy. Light weight and great Vision almost as good as the Bell Bullitt super comfy. Only downside if you call it that is noise. It's a light weight top quality helmet. Think Summer helmet. Has holes on top for venting and they work great. Also with that air comes noise. All good tho nothin to bad but it isn't quite. There is rain protection for it but dosnt block out the noise like a quiet full face. Not supposed to. I love this Helmet! Repeat very light and super comfortable!!! ... show more

Pros: - Light weight (lighter than the Bell Moto 3) - Looks great - Good airflow - Very little wind noise - Great field of view/visibility Cons: - Didn't come with the dark visor as the listing stated (that's not the helmet or Bell's fault) - Seems to run slightly big? --- Based on the size guide I went with the M/L, but it is less snug than my Large Bell Moto 3. I'm confident that I could fit in a standard medium without any problem. (Maybe find a local shot that will let you try one on before committing to a size. ... show more

Helmet arrived quickly and I’m very impressed with it. This is my second Bell helmet, my other being a race star pro. This helmet is a very different arrangement. The face is short, which I really like. Visability is fantastic, no blind spots. The speaker pockets fit the speakers that came with the sena 20s evo, but they aren’t deep enough to accommodate higher quality, thicker speakers. The face shield is remarkable. It’s double paned, and won’t fog up, I tried. The ventilation is great, plenty of airflow to keep from sweating but the vents are not closeable so be aware of that if you intend on riding in the rain. Wind noise is more noticeable in the Eliminator vs the race star pro but it is not bad at all. I can hear my sena at 3/4 volume just fine (straight piped vtwin) This helmet is a stripped down, bare bones helmet with an aggressive look and feel, while retaining practical features (speaker pockets, ventilation, fog proof shield). Only gripe was some light patchy spots on the color but it’s not worth exchanging. ... show more

Showed in all the pictures the dark smoke face shield. Stated in the description comes with the dark smoke face shield. Proceeded to not get it and says they don’t have any. This was the specific reason I bought this helmet from here and didn’t receive what was SHOWED AND SPECIFIED. They also won’t do anything about it 👍🏻 Just know it doesn’t come with that dark smoke face shield their showing in all the pictures. ... show more

Overall 5 stars because it’s simply an awesome helmet. Tried many brands…Bell wins. Comfort and visibility are awesome. Wind noise is not bad at a all. A little whistle from time to time, but not bad at all. I will second what another review mentioned - visor open and close takes a little getting used to. Improve that…and the helmet gets six stars. Add it looks bad-ass…great value for you hard earned $$$. ... show more
