This is just about what I envisioned having to engineer to fit my plate to my 1975 bug. The holes in the deck lid did not match up to the plate so this bracket came in handy. I really like the fact the plate is not in contact with the deck lid so it doesn't constantly dig into the paint. The chrome like finish is great and the metal is very sturdy. If space allows you could mount the plate so it hides the bracket. However, in my case the plate would run into the light shroud above it. Not a big deal the bracket doesn't deter from the look of the car in my opinion.

It's easy to install, very adjustable, solidly constructed, fairly priced, and comes with almost everything you need. You may have to buy some washers/nuts and additional plate screws to get your plate to fit. Based on my experience, it would be very easy to install this on a bumper with pre-drilled holes. I used it for my 2013 C350 which has a sharply pointed front bumper, so it's difficult to get a plate on properly. I didn't want to drill holes in my bumper so I figured I'd attach the mount to my mesh grill and then attach the plate. It took some effort, but the bottom and top rows of diamond mesh on the grill were half-sized (the screws go right through the full-size diamonds). I put the screws through the small openings, then secured the other sides with washers and nuts. After that I lined up the bracket to where I wanted it and easily attached the license plate. Edit: After one year of use, the metal has developed noticeable rust, but it's still functioning just fine.

Great license plate holder for those who don't want to drill into their bumper. Screws are included if you wanted to option to drill into it though. Bracket is adjustable and allows you to mess with the angles. It helped out when I had clearance issues with my plate. Haven't had any problems with my plate rubbing on the bumper.

Very adjustable and easily hackable for your use. I wanted to avoid drilling into my front bumper and used toggle bolts through the grill to attach. Worked out incredibly well and is very sturdy. Able to slightly bend it too to match the contour of the bumper. It did however, rust within 24 hours of installing much as others have noted. Would be nice to have a stainless or painted version. I'll prob pop it back off, sand it down, and paint it to slow the oxidation. Might be worth a trip to the hardware store too for some stainless hardware. For under $7 I'll can deal with the other hassles since were no other good options and would buy again if this one rusts out too badly. (The second runner up was the tow hook mount, but for our car that would've been just over $100.)

The holes to actually mount the license plate were not drilled properly on the part I received, so I can't use it. Note unequal spacing in the picture, so it doesn't line up with the holes in the plate. I had been waiting for my license plates for my new car to come in before mounting, so I missed the return window. Buyer beware, check as soon as you receive the bracket.

After my dealer drilled (2) huge holes for a plastic bracket to install a license plate on my 2017 Honda Civic, I figured I wanted to remove that big plastic bracket and install my own adjustable bracket to mount my own license plate and avoid re-drilling my bumper. I found this on Amazon and thought it might work. I'm so glad it did. It's adjustable, so those (2) huge holes the dealer made can be covered by my actual plate which dropped several inches. Amazing product for a terrific price!

Fit my 2009 Honda Odyssey perfectly. I bought a used Honda Odyssey from a state that did not have front license plates so there was no bracket for a front license plate, which my state requires. I bought the Honda factory license plate bracket and it was really floppy and was going to require me to drill a hole and put a screw through the bumper to mount it so that it was not floppy. I did not want to do that. This Bell bracket was the solution that has worked great. I had to buy wide washers and nuts and longer bolts to make it reach and attached it through my grill. There is a web forum for no-drill installations of front license plates and that is where I got the tip. I am happy not to have screwed into my bumper. Since I didn't actually screw into my bumper, I will have to avoid car washes with brushes to make sure that this thing stays on, but it is better to go to a brushless car wash anyways. I did test out my normal car wash with brushes once with the Bell bracket holding my license plate and it did flip down. Thank goodness nothing was broken or damaged, but that was a lesson-learned for me to not go there again. If you install this license plate as it was supposed to be installed, I do not see this being an issue for you.

The product works well although you will still need to make two holes in your front bumper to secure it well, which I have yet to do. I got this item to temporarily get out of a fix it ticket and it did the trick. You will need to make two holes on the underside of your front bumper to screw in the self tapping screws it comes with. I tried to bypass doing this: my Honda Civic has two perfect holes from the manufacturer where the original plate attach but this bracket was not long enough to attach there so due to time restraint I screwed in the screws. You can't see the unsightly holes anyway. Good product for a quick fix, and it looks very clean.
