  • The kids definitely like them
Size: 100 Count
I'm fairly impressed at these have a pretty short ingredients list. I'm not saying a long list of preservatives. They are simple chocolate. Are they amazing chocolate? No not really. I'm not saying they're terrible, because they aren't. They are just decent chocolate. If you ate one expecting milk chocolate, you won't be disappointed. That's what they are, and that's exactly how they taste. They aren't the prettiest things in the world. Quite a few of them came broken inside of their wrappers. That obviously doesn't change the taste. It doesn't make any difference to me. The kids were a little bit annoyed. Well, at least the smaller kids were. My teenagers didn't mind. My 6-year-old and 8-year-old were the ones who were angry about a few of them being broken. They still ate them. They don't seem to be very old. They have an expiration date of over a year from now. I don't think I'd let them sit that long. It would be very bloomed by that point. As of now, they don't look bloomed. They are rather beat up, which is what you're seeing in the pictures, but they didn't bloom yet. In other words, they are quite fresh. My smaller kids are having a good time exchanging them as currency of course. They end up eating them in the long run. I ate a few just to test them. As I said, they are exactly what you'd expect if you just bid into something expecting milk chocolate. They aren't particularly rich, nor do they have any strange flavors. They are just milk chocolate. Value for money is decent. There are 100 of them in there. In 2026, you probably aren't going to get something like this much cheaper. ... show more

  • Very good chocolate gold coins, found no problems, recommended
Size: 100 Count
The bag of chocolate coins was a little bigger than I expected. The ingredient label was clear and well documented. The gold-wrapping was a good color and almost looks like real gold coins. Of course the bag doesn't weigh as heavy as real gold would. The coin wrappers were a little tricky to open so you will need to use your finger nails or have a blunt utensil like a dining knife to pry open the golden foil The chocolate coin itself had good thickness and the detail of the coin was amazing. The chocolate starts out firm but gets rich and creamy after it breaks down in your mouth. Very delicious chocolate flavor and hard to stop at eating one coin! Value for money for 1 and 1/2 pounds of chocolate it seems at a reasonable price, though you might find some other brands likely for less money. But the quality and thickness of the chocolate is very good so it's worth paying the market-average price. I could not find any problems with these chocolate coins, just a little tricky to open. If you are a chocolate lover and like the novelty of a gold coin wrapper then you will really like these chocolate gold coins and I recommend them. ... show more

  • These gold coins are great for little gifts inside goodie bags
Size: 25 Count
These gold coins are great for a little gift inside a goodie bag for a birthday party. They are good symblism to wish for good fortune at festivals or celebrations. The only concert is the chocolate inside and I am don't what type of chocolate it is under the wraps. I haven't tried it yet, but hope that they are good quality too. ... show more

  • Tastes like delish milk chocolate & chocolate coins are always so fun!
Size: 100 Count
Fun and yummy bag of 100 “Belgian“ milk chocolate coins. Some were a little banged around more than others, but all were intact (nothing opened, nothing broken). Easy to open and peel at the “coin” edges. IMO different packaging, like a nice box with stacked coins might elevate the look & feel of these and make it seem worth the $30 price point. I can’t speak for what is authentically Belgian milk chocolate but these were definitely tasty milk chocolate - a rich chocolate flavor. Ingredient list was quite simple w/nothing too unexpected in it. Happy it was included on the bag. Thought it was funny and weird that these came in Kennedy half dollar coin design which seemed random but at the same time kinda cool since one doesn’t see these coins irl very often. These are perfect for gifting or putting out for upcoming special holidays! Kids would def love these - chocolate coins are always so fun! ... show more

  • 4.5 star average out of 3 tasters
Size: 100 Count
These candies are in the design of US half dollars and an appropriate size to reflect that. The reliefs are fairly crisp, although not perfect. There are a decent amount in the bag. My husband said that when he tried these, he felt like a kid again and that to him they tasted very rich. My son said that while he isn't a fan of how they open, he thinks that they are good and that they taste like milk chocolate. I personally think that it is better than most chocolates available commercially these days in the US, but that it has a flavor to them that becomes more pronounced afterwards, which I am not a real big fan of. I also don't think it's the worse packaging like this I've used, but also not the best as the edges fold over themselves more than once on some of them. Overall, however, the consensus seems to be that they are better than worse. ... show more

  • High quality chocolate coins
Size: 100 Count
This is a large supply of big silver dollar embossed gold foil covered Belgian chocolate coins. They were an excellent example of smooth, creamy, sweet, milk chocolate made with high quality ingredients. The chocolate wasn't chalky or grainy and it melts easily in your mouth. They are large coins tightly wrapped in the foil which is 2 round sections that you can peel off from the edges. I really enjoyed these as a snack or dessert and found them very satisfying when I need my chocolate fix or have a craving for sweets. These would be a welcome gift for any chocolate lover and can be shared easily as they are individually wrapped. Use them to line the bottom of a Valentine's box or Easter basket or give out sacks of them in little green bags for Saint Paddy's Day. I really enjoy these chocolate coins and would definitely recommend them. ... show more
