I'm a very picky person and these sleeves are nearly perfect if you are using them to block UV rays and give you a slight cooling effect. I measured my guns and they are thirteen inches at the bicep. The XX large are still a little snug but I figure they will stretch out over time. If you are using them for compression the top near your bicep is much smaller than normal. If you have arms like Popeye they would fit pretty well. Hey, don't be like me and have to almost freeze to death on a mountain for God to get my attention and stop living for myself. I bought an XL for my boyfriend and it was a little snug the first time he wore them. We thought they may loosen a little as he wore them more, as he wears them for sports but they haven’t. I would for sure size up what you think if you don’t want the elastic band on top cutting into your arm.
