Don't let the stiffness of the cases right out of the packaging discourage you. After a wash/dry they are soft and luxurious. The color is deep and did not fade during the initial laundering. I saw a few reviews that mentioned the thinness of the cases...That is not my experience. They are not really thick nor too thin. Certainly can't see through them as a few have mentioned. I have no idea if it helped with my hair oils or not. It’s very soft and cool. But my goodness - it’s slippery as all get out. I couldn’t keep my pillow under my head. i bought two baby pink and two baby blue covers. they are so soft and comfortable and i get lots of compliments from my friends when they sleep over. my main reason for buying satin covers is to protect my curly hair at night. i also like that they keep your pillows feeling cooler throughout the night than regular cotton cases. these are sturdy and i have yet to see any wear and tear after about two months of use (i bought cheap covers before that ripped very quickly). my only minor complaint is that i wish they could zip up, i roll around so much throughout the night and it makes the covers come halfway off. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I live in Florida and it's common for me to get warm and sweaty at night. So I bought these because I've tried so many other products and I've heard that these are also GREAT for women and men who don't want hair pulling out or having their beautiful hairstyle fall apart overnight. I bought a set for myself and my mother. They arrived in a nice large envelope shaped package. They were very soft upon arrival with no scent or issues with material. Had then a week and are totally wrinkle free. I would not that hair products and oils can obviously discolor. Mine was fixed with a cool water wash. We placed on both beds with queen pillows and they fit great and with extra room and also lay great on the queen and call king beds Moms hair looks great and she doesn't have the sleepy head hair or whatever it's called. Morning hair! Not like before. I'm balding and using products to keep the hair I've got and noticed far less actual hairs (and I actually check this daily and keep records) reach morning when I'm sleeping using these pillow covers. The gray or silver stays beautiful even after a wash in chill water and washed only with bedding. We've both giving 5 full stars and I've got a video.
