I hate evening bags because there is never enough room for the essentials. This bag is soft and pleated so that you can fit more stuff in without distorting it's shape. I put in a small pack of tissues, a S22 Samsung phone that's in a silicone case, reading glasses, eye drops, a compact, lipstick, credit card, drivers license and cash. The material is a soft pearl color. I used the pearl handle only but it comes with a long strap so you could use as a shoulder or crossbody bag. I received so many compliments on it. This color is so versatile; however, I would purchase this bag again if I needed a different color in the future.
