This is the first time I have gotten these shoes brand new, I normally get a 'hand-me-down' from another family member. These boots are so comfortable, I love them. I did buy an extra sealant just in case but I haven't had any leaking issues on really rainy days. They are made really well so they probably would have been fine on their own but I love boots and I do my best to take care of them. I purchased these around Christmas so I got them on sale but I still think that the price would be worth it for these amazing boots. Love these boots. They are so warm and the length makes them wearable with dresses and pants. They are warm and so very comfortable. I was skeptical at first about the size and the fit - they are true to size and fit just right. The boots were warm and dry even warn in the snow.

I have had two Bearpaws boots (high Emma) and the super short ones. Wore them both out completely. Looked for new ones and tried these Koko ones. Absolutely love them. Super comfortable and the cuff around the ankle is great. I have neuropathy in my legs and feet so finding a great fit is not easy. These are the best yet! Very happy! ... show more

These are very hard to put on. The buckle does function though it serves no functional purpose as far as loosening the boot. I don't see why an extra buckle, snap, zipper, etc wasn't included. I assume with time they will break in and be easier to put on but for the moment it's very frustrating. If I hadn't gotten these at a steep discount I would be returning because of this issue. Purchased: Dark gray (wool) size 9 regular width in women's US. My normal boot size: 8.5 or 9 wide. These boots fit well as far as length, actually a bit to spare. The regular size is a bit wider than typical boots, just right for me. If your feet swell or you have a high arch, I wouldn't necessarily recommend these because they're tight where the laces would be on shoes. If you do get them, I'd recommend ordering the wide size to accommodate. Bearpaw makes much more stylish boots than the others (you know their name), and I love that the sole is rubber. They're definitely quality boots too, and they're very warm. Overall they're excellent other than the getting them on issue. For Bearpaw as a brand overall, five stars all the way. ... show more

I prefer Bearpaw boots to other companies' .... Yes, it's a workout getting them on at first and it's ok after you figure out the approach to take ...I used the handle of a serving spoon. The back of the boot at the heel is the workout. Once they go on they are snug, and really comfortable. I'm a true 7.5 with petite feet. Most boots in this design are too bulky for my feet. I run a bit smaller on my right foot and the right boot feels a tiny bit bigger than the left. This lets me know when a boot or shoe is made to size, matching right to left when made. I wanted the color "Larkspur" for the fun and the price made them worth it to buy. I'll be having fun. It is a beautiful deep purple. Very nice! I didn't comment on the water resistance .. .. .. Cute boots, true to size. I will say the one shoe came with a mark on the top of the fabric as if something dropped onto the shoe…. but it came off with water and one spot had pulled the stitching from the top on the other shoe. I fixed both of these issues so, I won’t return because these are shoes I bought with a credit for a previous return… I really liked them and was an easy fix. But there are some noticeable imperfections. They are really cute in person and are super warm. Overall happy with my purchase but not so happy about quality control. ... show more
