I'm old. I've had some trucks. Those trucks had a lot of lights. These are, bar none, by a huge margin, the very best lights I have ever had on a truck or seen on anyone else's, except maybe this one guy with a military vehicle he decked out, but I don't remember for sure. It had so much nice other stuff on that thing I can't say for sure if he even had any spot or flood lights at all. Hey, when you get old I won't expect you to remember everything, either. These things are well-worthy of that kind of rig, though. I'm going to put these on my old Bronco, once I get it up here to the new place. I can't stand looking at the old plastic-housed fog lights I picked up on sale at the auto parts store in relation to that really nice 2" chromed tubes set in thick flat chrome plates beefy monster of a cop car style grill guard (but chromed). I'll pitch those plastic ones in the bin or put em on the RV as extra reverse lights, maybe. These new guys will go up on a bar over the cab, is my plan. That'll look real sharp on there, I think. Or not. Haven't tried em on yet. I'll see about getting a pic up on here once it's done. Now that I said that about those old lights, I'm thinking about getting another set of these for the motorhome, instead. They'll look great on it, and more light outside can sure come in handy on an RV. Mainly, I just wanted to let people know that these are a little bit smaller than I thought they'd be, so check the measurements, but they're also a whoooole...lot nicer and way heavier-duty than I ever could have expected. I'm impressed. ***Hey, good work on these, guys.*** Yeah, I did that. I'm old. I can do whatever I want. They did a great job. So? Just get em. The BEAMTECH 3-Inch White LED Spot and Flood Light Combo Pods have been a fantastic addition to my SUV for off-road use. These lights offer a great combination of spot and flood beam patterns, producing 40 watts and 4800 lumens of powerful illumination. The dual functionality provides a focused beam for long-range visibility and a wide beam for peripheral coverage, making them incredibly effective in various conditions. Whether I’m navigating dark trails or enhancing visibility in rural areas, these pods have consistently provided reliable lighting. What I really like about these LED pods is how well thought out the package is. They came ready to install with a complete wire harness, including a switch, relay, and fused circuit. This eliminated the hassle of sourcing additional components and made the installation quick and painless. Compared to other LED pods I’ve tried, these not only look really nice, fit better but also felt more user-friendly during setup. In less than an hour, I had them mounted and ready to go, and the results were instantly noticeable. The functionality of these pods is remarkable. Very nice lights. I really like that they're available in spot, flood, and combination beam patterns. I ordered the floods for the back of my UTV to light up the bed and surrounding work area. The image depicting the light pattern is pretty accurate. They have very wide coverage with no hot spots. Two of them aimed properly will easily cover 180 degrees. I didn't connect the auxiliary amber circuit. Installation was a snap. I did turn the mounts around backwards to allow a bit more downward angle. The mounts are very secure. I did have a problem with both of the mounting bolts galling and seizing before they were even tight. I caught it soon enough that I was able to back them off, apply some anti seize lubricant to the threads, and retighten them without further issue. This is a common problem with stainless steel hardware, I don't really fault the manufacturer of the lights. Overall I really like the lights. I'm planning on ordering a set of the driving lights for the front.
