Size XL I am somewhere around 5'6", 180lb, bra is a 40C, spare tire is 42", waist is 43" and hips are 44". The early '70s have put on more around the middle of this grandma's bod than I care to admit! But if the disclosure helps other sisters determine the correct size for them, it's worth it! This dress fits loosely and comfortably but not overly big. I was worried that my spare tire would be a problem but it's not. I am short waisted, if that makes a difference, and the dress comes down right about the middle of my knees. My bra does not show in the under arms. The fabric is 100% polyester, but it feels very luxurious and cool. It has a very soft hand to it and feels almost satin-y. It is substantial fabric, not thin but not so heavy that Florida weather is going to make it uncomfortable. Feels like an upper priced soft T-shirt. It is well put together. My husband and mother-in-law thought it looked very nice on me and I immediately ordered two more! I did have to iron it because it came in a zip top bag with all the air sucked out, so it was rather wrinkled. Make sure you iron yours on the lowest temperature that still offers steam. So frustrating. Why does EVERY dress now seem to have pockets? There is no woman who has hips on the face of this planet that wants an extra bulge at her hip line! The colors of this dress are pretty and vibrant. The fabric is nice and soft. Love the dress, HATE the fact that there's pockets. Sending back. If only the pockets weren't there I'd keep it.
