I'd been eyeballing this dress (color "A-White") for over a year before I finally got it. I loved the romantic, fluttery look of it but just couldn't justify purchasing because I couldn't think of where I'd wear it. I don't wear a ton of dresses. However, when I planned our engagement photos earlier this year, I knew this would be perfect and was exactly the look I was going for. When it comes to the fit, I'd say it's TTS, but I would recommend sizing up if you have a bigger chest. I first purchased it in a size L when I'm normally a M or a L, depending on the fit (42-31-42, bust-waist-hip), as I do have a somewhat larger chest (36DD). The L definitely fit with some extra room almost everywhere, but the buttons on the top were stretched open and gaped due to my bust size. Unfortunately buttons with those stretchy loops and a bigger chest don't always mesh well. I ended up sending the L back and going up to an XL, which meant it was pretty loose in other areas (the back of the top was a little baggy, and it was a bit longer), but there was luckily more room in the top. When it comes to the quality and material, I'm on the fence as to whether it's worth the nearly $50 price tag (I'd say $30-35 is more fair). On one hand, it is a unique dress that is fairly well made with pretty embroidery and delicate material. While I've seen one or two other sellers offering it, and a much more expensive brand selling the one that no doubt inspired this rendition, it is different from most of the other dresses out there. On the other hand, the execution is a bit lazy, which means there will be a lot of loose threads and little things that need fixing if you care about the details. Both sizes I got had lots of areas that I had to trim extra strings and material off of. For example, if you look at the ends of the sleeves, you'll see that it has the embroidery, and in the product pictures, it shows the sleeve finish there cleanly with a stitched edge. However, the dress you will actually get will not be that cleanly cut (or at least my two weren't); it will have little bits of that sheer/mesh part of the sleeve jaggedly sticking out below where the embroidery ends, as if it were cut quickly and messily. The same goes for the bottom of the dress, and for a lot of the ruffles too. I took about 20 minutes to go over the dress carefully with some scissors to clean those edges up. I attached a photo circling the area on the sleeve I trimmed the extra fabric off of. I would also recommend steaming it because a lot of the ruffles were sticking out in weird places on mine. I nearly stitched down the ruffles along the bust and waist because they were jutting out weirdly at times. I've washed it twice in a delicates bag and then hung to dry, and it still looks and fits the same! When it comes to the feel, it's very lightweight and airy. I felt romantic and girly. I will say that the overall dress is pretty sheer. There is a lining in the skirt, but it's so sheer that it doesn't do much. I would definitely say you'll have to wear a sticky bra or pasties to avoid the color of your nips showing through the top, and you may want to consider a slip or nude underwear for the lower portion. The back is supposed to be sheer, so that is why I wouldn't recommend a standard bra. I would also say that, looking back at our photos, I wouldn't have minded a bit more volume under the skirt to give it some body. I will say that the fit is probably not the most flattering on my hourglass shape, as it made my hips and bust look even bigger thanks to the ruffles, but that's just me being self-conscious I'm sure. I wish it came in other colors, as I would have liked it in a nude or pink color even more. Overall, I'm very happy I purchased this dress, despite the little flaws and the price. It was exactly what I was looking for and I don't think I could have found a more perfect dress.

It truly is a really lovely dress. Just some things to note: 1. It's definitely not the more vibrant cobalt blue I thought I was getting. Its very Navy Blue. Still nice, just not what I was going for. 2. It does have that little privacy material behind the buttons which I appreciate because the top one pulls. I feel like, if not for that I could have gotten a medium but happy with the large 3. Had I gotten a medium I do feel the waistline would look more flattering. But I definitely would have to wear a cami under it and leave it unbuttoned. 4. It does work for us curvy girls, which a lot of lace doesn't. So I'm thrilled with that. But its not a "care free out in the sun" kind of a look if you are curvy. I mean, I will be care free out in the sun anyway, but being the deeper navy and more fitted to my chest, it actually looks fancier. 5. I do recommend this dress overall. Its truly pretty and fun. The lining is a normal fit instead of uncomfortably tight. And the detail for the money, is really nice.

I just received my dress today. All I can say, is that it exceeded my expectations. It's absolutely STUNNING!! I'm 5ft. 2 in. and 125 lbs. and the medium fit perfectly. Length was at my ankles with heels on. I'm also guessing the company made some modifications to this dress after some of the prior reviews were posted. The whole upper part if the dress was lined and not see-through as some reviews stated. The built-in slip came to right below my knees and will require no additional slip. I ordered the brown color and it's a gorgeous shade of rust...perfect for the fall wedding I will be attending. I would highly recommend this dress.

I had ordered this dress in blue & what I received was a navy blue dress. I do realize that the color was not going to be exact but I was really hoping for the dress to actually be the royal blue color or at least close to it that is shown in the photo but it unfortunately was not. The navy blue is nice but I think the royal blue would have been a lot prettier other than that I love the dress. Just disappointed with the color. I had already washed it too.
