I decided to wear this shirt to my (ballroom) dance class tonight and nearly every person there commented on how nice the shirt looked, commenting on it's flowy nature and how it looked "regal" lol. It was also fun to twirl around in since it's so billowy in general. It's breathable and the sleeves are easy to push up, although doing so makes it look like the shirt is 3/4 sleeve at that point. The neck is a bit hard to clasp but it looks good enough open that it's not a big deal. I'm nearly 5'9", 160lbs, and a 36B and ordered a medium. I feel like it fit me appropriately. This is a decent shirt. When I tried it on, it didn't seem to sit right on me. The fit is weird, not quite long enough in my opinion, but maybe that's because I have a longer torso. It's very flowy which feels nice to wear, but I'm not sure how this shirt will hold up over time in the wash. The colors are really pretty and I like that I can keep the neck open or closed too. This may be polyester but it is a sheer fabric and practically see through I thought that it should have some sort of Cami or some sort of undershirt sewn in. I have worn more fabric at the beach then what is it in the shirt! I was excited to order & receive this but striped & pleated peasant-style shirt from BCBG but it does not work out. The shirt is frumpy on & is a little cropped in that it ends just at the top of the waist. The front is awkward & I initially thought it was the back due to the hook & eye closures. The hook & eye keep the top from looking decent with the neck open as shown in the listing picture. You will need to wear a safety tank/camisole as the material is somewhat see through. The length of the shirt with the spreading of the pleats- it fits but it acts like a triangle from the neck to the cropped bottom. The sleeves do not go the length of the arm but stop above the wrists like a bracelet sleeve. Overall, the shirt is not flattering nor is the material soft. I ordered an XL even though my usual size is L as BCBG runs small & the shirt might even be a bit small even as it seems to fit in the body, arms & neck. It's hard ordering items like clothing online & I tried something new with this shirt & it was a miss. ... show more

This is a unique and eye-catching blouse, but the fit isn’t ideal for my body type. It runs short at the waist, so I had to layer a tank underneath to make it wearable, and the pleating doesn’t sit well on a fuller chest. The sleeves, however, are gorgeous… airy, comfortable, and flattering. The material feels high quality, and the stitching is nicely done, though some of the pleating is inconsistent in spots. I think for style and comfort this is a 5 star item. The drap is really nice on my curvy areas and how the color blocking is displayed. I love the neckline open, and how necklaces show too. I am not a big fan of polyester but I coudn't resist the style of this. so for me it gets lower stars for the fabric and probably should be lower for the price too. I’m really happy with this blouse! It’s chic and elegant — the perfect piece to elevate any jeans or pants outfit. The fabric is very comfortable and not too sheer at all (I thought I might need a camisole underneath, but a regular bra works fine). The color combination is beautiful — ideal for both fall and spring. It fits true to size (I ordered a Large), and the usual BCBG quality definitely shows.
