As my Amazon account can attest, I bought and returned over a dozen dresses for a formal-but-not-black-tie wedding as one of the mothers. As a mother, I need to look nicer than the average wedding guest. Knowing that I will be on my feet all day and likely wearing this dress for most of it, I want to be pretty and comfortable at an outdoor, summer wedding. This is an attractive, flowy, modest dress. I have a big tummy, and I found the fit flattering. With the lace top, it provides good coverage of my chest without being matronly. It zips up the back, and covers some scars I'd rather not see in wedding photos. The material is not itchy, even the lace is soft. Follow the measurements on the size chart closely, and you'll be happy. Buy for the largest measurement. You can always take it to a tailor; although, I did not need to. The waist is a tad high, so the waist measurement is actually the measurement of the ribbon that hits above the waist. The material is flowy, but somehow it still shows every bump, so I will use foundational garments for sculpting. I exchanged my dress because the ribbon at the waist was not sewn on properly. The exchange was quickly managed by the seller. The price is pretty low, so even if I can't wear it again, I feel that I am getting enough value out of it. I am 5' 3", and the dress is not too long on me. It does not drag on the floor, but it's pretty close. I plan to wear flat shoes. With a great return policy, I recommend giving this one a try. I love this dress! Worn for a friend’s wedding. I’m 5’2” and about 130 lbs and ordered the turquoise in medium. With short heels it was brushing the floor in the back but it was fine. The color was a little greener in person but it was very pretty. Took a while to steam the wrinkles out, but well worth it! I like that it had a cap sleeve as well. ... show more

Beautiful neckline and silhouette...however, the wrinkles in the skirt WILL NOT COME OUT. After 30 minutes of steaming and ironing I gave up. Not sure if I'll keep the dress. Update: I was able to remove the wrinkles, although it took some time. I will be keeping the dress
