  • Great for competitive or casual playing.
Platform: Xbox Series X Edition: Standard
I dont care what people say, this was a great game. Yeah maybe not ground breaking, but it is a fun casual shooter with moments of chaos. Definitely better then playing against hackers or sweats on COD.

  • The game feels fixed
Platform: Xbox Series X Edition: Standard
I waited a long time before buying this game because of all the stuff I heard about glitches and whatnot. Even the battlefield friends I have that usually can look past bugs, and stuff put this one down, and I . However, I’ve been hearing the community talking about how a lot of things have been fixed and for $16 I can’t say no to at least trying it. Worse comes to worse I’ll return it on Amazon. However I’ve been playing for about 12 hours and I’m having a lot of fun playing the game. It feels very smooth and extremely enjoyable. There are a lot of things I don’t like about it but the base of the game I really do like. I would not spend more than $20 on this game. Not even $22. I don’t think this is the worst battlefield game like other say I think the fifth one was much worse. ... show more

  • Good, but broken still!
Platform: Xbox Series X Edition: Standard
I ordered this game from Amazon back in 2023 for a whole 5 bucks. Back then, the game was pretty horrid. Fast forward to now, I decided to pick it back up since Battlefield 6 is coming out soon. I do like the maps and in general, I like the game. I wish there were more modes to play. Overall, it is done well with the maps and all. But, the spawn points are still a massive issue. Can not tell you how many times I will spawn after being killed only to spawn directly in front of an enemy and get popped right away again. The community of players do not seem to understand nor care how to play this game. I will waiting to get help and revived and my teammates just ignore me and play this game like Call Of Duty. I suspect there are cheaters big time as well. Some people just never do bad and are dominant the entire match. I have seen guys get 40-50 kills per game and maybe 10 deaths. That is just impossible and you will see the same thing in Call Of Duty games too. For now, this will do until Battlefield 6 launches in a few weeks. Level 100 is the cap and then you can gain S levels to 999. Can't wait to unlock more guns and attachments to see how they perform compared to the early weapons you get. ... show more

  • Excellent for $10.
Platform: Xbox Series X Edition: Standard
I bought it for $10 and for that amount I can’t complain! I prefer disc versions of the games, and for this price it’s excellent.

  • Promising Core with Room for Improvement
Platform: Xbox Series X Edition: Standard
Battlefield 2042 has a solid foundation and could have been a standout entry in the series, but it’s held back by some balancing issues, performance problems, and a few questionable design choices. The menus feel a bit bare, there are fewer unlockable guns than usual, and the progression system is simpler without a battle pass. While the core gameplay is strong, it’s marred by some unsuccessful design changes, rushed features, and bugs at launch. There’s potential here, but it needs more polish to reach its full potential. ... show more

  • Don’t Waste your time or money on this game!
Platform: Xbox Series X Edition: Standard
For months, I saw trailers on this game. Wow! The graphics looked great. The high-tech military action looked like something that our brave fighters would be using in the year 2042. I was ready and pumped to play this game. UNTIL LAUNCH DAY… EA never seems to disappoint myself and other gamers around the world. Upon, downloading the content and on my tv screen I saw a battleship cruising in the ocean. I pushed on my Xbox controller “A” button to start the game. Nope…EA wants me to use my personal email first, before I can play the game. Okay, fine EA, I’ll give you my email. Next, I was expecting that was it, but sadly, that was not the end. In order for the game to start, I must connect to EA Servers. Guess what? EA Servers are down and down for days. Heck, I was so annoyed by EA floppy launch, I just toss this game in my trash can. I know, I wasted $67 for this game. Save your money and don’t waste it on this game. I would buy this game when it hits $10 in a few years. I will never buy a game from EA again because year after year, the quality of games are lacking care and detail and bugs. ... show more

  • Great!
Platform: Xbox Series X Edition: Standard
Typical battlefield, but for me what makes it stand out is the solo play vs. AI. Playing against AI bots allows casual players to play and actually win matches without having to compete with "professionals " who play the game 10 hours a day. There's also difficulty levels that can make the bots more of a challenge. Playing solo does not give you all of the game modes, but there's enough maps, vehicles, weapons and equipment to keep it interesting. ... show more
