This is a beautiful bassinet. I’m really impressed by the construction, design, and the quilted stitching. With my first baby, the Rock N Play was essential to sleep because the rocking motion would keep him from waking in the night, but I don’t want our second baby to sleep full time in it because of the contoured sides. The Frog bassinet is flat inside so the transition to a crib will be much easier, and it’s much bigger so she will be able to use it longer. I like how light this is, and yet not flimsy at all! The rocking motion is subtle and easy. We have carpet in our bedroom, and I’m not sure how loud the rockers would be on a hardwood floor. The height of the bassinet top is also completely flush with our bed at about 30 inches. It’s absolutely perfect because I can just reach a few fingertips over to rock it in the night and I don’t have to reach down. That was another thing I really didn’t like about the rock and play sleeper. I bought the sand color because the gray was way more expensive, and I worried that it would look cheap because we also bought the arms reach co sleeper and it was the ugliest thing I’ve ever seen. We are returning the arms reach co sleeper because once we put the risers on it to make it the height of the bed, it became extremely rickety and creaky. And also, for some reason it is basically the same color as the frog bassinet and yet looks completely tacky and plasticky. I bought American Baby fitted changing pad covers for the frog bassinet at another reviewers suggestion. I love that brand!! This bassinet is perfect. Edit: our baby girl was born at the end of January, and this bassinet has been AWESOME. She actually sleeps in it for hours at a time! I can drag it around the upstairs from room to room very easily. It fits in our very small bathroom if I want to do hair and makeup but still watch her, and then also rock her with a free hand or even my foot if she’s fussy. I’m also in love with how it looks. It’s such a cute and modern bassinet. I’m so happy that we returned the ugly and cheap arms reach co sleeper. The frog bassinet is the best! Edit: after washing the sheet that famemwoth the bassinet, it shrunk so much that it is impossible to get back on the mattress. I’m now using summer infant changing pad covers as sheets. It’s not a perfect fit, but it works fine. My baby is now 2.5 months old and sleeps 9 hours in this bassinet. I will be so sad when we have to transition to a crib and get rid of the bassinet! The media could not be loaded. This bassinet is just perfect if you want some modern looking, light, easy to travel with, easy to move around the house e stable. It’s the most perfect bassinet (I did a lot of research on a lot of them). The price it’s a bit more than others but it looks just so clean and beautiful. The fabric is excelente quality, it took 5 minutes to put together and the mattress is perfect for a baby (it’s thin, but I think that is just what a baby needs) Rocking motion: Not noisy at all! I have hard wood floor! Also, the wheels are a life saver! Plus: it comes with a nice mattress cover and a mattress sheet. I love how snuggle they are. I washed and dried them in low heat and it did not shrink or anything. I am in love with it!!! ... show more

Beautiful, functional, and a breeze to put together. My house has been baby gear central due to shower gifts being sent here. We just put together our Graco swing and goodness gracious what a puzzle. Not with this bassinett!I could just hug the designer for how easy it was to assemble and being 34 weeks pregnant I did it myself. I love the simple design that will go with our bedroom decor. I am so tired of seeing all the babyish complicated designs. Simple is best! I chose the grey diamond print with the rectangular mesh windows. The rectangular mesh is a larger view area than the circle and the grey is neutral in case we decide to have another baby. I personally think the mattress is just right for a newborn. They are supposed to sleep on a firm surface after all. Originally I put the Chicco lullago bassinet on my registry but they didn’t have grey. While that one is 100 dollars less I didn’t like that the mattress has a fold or split in the middle. That can’t be comfortable. Not with the green frog bassinett. The mattress is one piece. Did I mention it rocks and has wheels? The wheels move with absolute easy across our carpeted apartment. While my baby isn’t here yet I anticipate she will love this bassinet which we will keep right beside our bed and transition to her crib in a little while. This item is a win! ... show more

I am so in love with this bassinet! I don’t usually write reviews but I spent so much time researching & trying to find the perfect bassinet so now that I finally found one, I’m hoping this review will help others who are struggling to find a bassinet as well. I love that it rocks & how well made it is, it’s amazing to me that it’s so lightweight and easy to tote around yet it’s so sturdy at the same time. The mattress it came with is perfect as well, where as the other bassinets I’ve tried came with cheaply made ones. The only complaint I have is that I wish it came with some sort of storage, but I’m going to get creative and find a way to add that. I strongly recommend this bassinet! ... show more

This was so easy to put together. No tools needed. I think it would be just as easy for travel as a pack and play. It even comes with a carrying case. Our baby isn’t born yet, but we can’t wait to use it. I did order the one with a square window because the one with the round window wasn’t coming back in to stock. The one that arrived actually had the round window, which I was happy about! However, it’s not what I ordered so that could be an issue for others. ... show more
