My husband worked in sales for many years and wore ties with his suits. For most of those years, we purchased his ties, suits and accessories from Nordstrom. After he retired, he rarely wore them, so they were passed along to others who would use them. Recently he decided he needed a couple of new ties, specifically with paisley patterns, so rather than hit the stores (he HATES shopping), he ordered a red/black and a black-on-black tie. When he told me he'd paid $35 for TWO ties, I was certain that I'd be sending them back. They arrived two days later, wrapped in plastic and inserted into boxes. He pulled them out and we were both shocked to see that the online photos hadn't done justice to the patterning. They were much better looking than expected, the color contrasts were perfect and the fabric weight and length made tying a Windsor knot a breeze (he's a perfect size 42 regular). The tie came and it is absolutely stunning. Very good quality and has a beautiful shine to the gold details. When I bought it, I didn't realize it was an entire set with cuff links and a handkerchief, so I was pleasantly surprised by that. Obviously I didn't read the description all the way lol. my husband needed a tie for a job. The black and gold were the colors he was told he needed to get a tie and a pocket square with it. Of course I came to Amazon I came across this tie because it has like 40 different color versions so I ordered it not hoping much because it wasn't really that expensive but when it came OMG! It is so beautiful all the gold is not glittery or holographic, but it has a shine to it when the light hits it. The quality was actually very good. Much better than I expected. My husband absolutely loves it. I actually bought it in another color because I was so impressed. It looks so expensive and he says he gets a lot of compliments on it from other men asking where he got it. His boss even made a remark that he looks sharp, so definitely two thumbs up for this gorgeous tie, I highly suggest the black and gold. it has a typical paisley print, but the shining is that's on. It makes it so much different than any other tie I've ever seen. It will definitely get you noticed the pocket square is very nice too. It is large.
