We had been using our Egyptian cotton sheets year-round when I realized that during the summer, I frequently awakened feeling extremely hot. Knowing that bamboo fabrics are naturally cooling, I searched for bamboo sheets and found these. We have been using them for three nights now, and this morning my husband said he loved the sheets! Now, for a husband to notice and comment on the sheets is simply remarkable. We both find them extremely soft, cool, and comfortable. When I washed them before the first use, they came out of the dryer with plenty of wrinkles, but I have to admit that I don't care if my sheets are wrinkled since my eyes are closed when I'm sleeping on them. Pickier people can iron theirs if they want to, though. I also love the fact that the company is veteran-owned because I want to support those who have given their time and themselves to protect our country. UPDATE: I've been using the sheets for several months now and they've held up nicely. They are still feel very soft and sturdy. I'm really happy with purchase. My sheets arrived Saturday and so far I'm really happy with the purchase. I previously owned a set of Cariloha bamboo sheets which I loved but I wasn't willing to pay $200+ for sheets again. I took a bit of a gamble on these sheets (I've never heard of Bamboo Bay) but I was pleasantly surprised when the sheets arrived. The quality was very similar to my previous bamboo sheets and this set was a lot more affordable. Let's hope they hold up. So far, so good! ... show more

As with everything I buy, I over-researched the multitude of different kinds/types/brands of sheets. I remembered being on vacation and going into the Cariloha store. Those were definitely some great sheets. But for $200 to start...a bit pricey! So, I saw these, took stock in the reviews, and made a purchase. WOW! is all I can say. Great quality, soft, and cool. One small touch I particularly appreciated, 4 pillowcases. Usually, you only get 2 with the option to purchase extra. Inside the package was a coupon code to purchase an additional set for 25% off. Needless to say, I purchased an additional set. If you’re on the fence about these sheets, do it...buy these. ... show more

I loved theses sheets when they first arrived. They are soft and comfortable but DO NOT HOLD UP! I ordered on Dec. 16th, 2020 and by Feb 16th I found the hole. I was very careful and followed all washing and drying instructions to the letter. I could not believe my eyes when I found the hole while putting my new sheets on the bed. Also, Bamboo Bay states that they will replace or refund if you have a problem via their "180 day sleep guarantee". I have not been able to find a phone number for them nor contact information via Amazon. I googled them and found a form to fill out on their web site. It is now Jan. 2022. I Bamboo Bay replaced a Dec. 2020 purchase in March 2021. I have a huge threadbare spot that will be a hole as soon as my foot slides over it. I would think that a set of sheets I paid $100 for would last a couple of years. I could not choose 0 Stars. ... show more

OMG YES~ Researched on the lightest and softest sheet set and found Bamboo. Who knew? So I ordered them for my husband who is very picky about his sheets. When I took them out of their packaging I was amazed at how soft they were. It says to wash before using, so I did. My husband slept on them the same night that they arrived. (little background on the hubby: NOTHING makes him say he 'loves it'. Doesnt matter what it is. Even dinner. LOL) Well, the next morning I asked him how they were, waiting for a 'they are ok' remark. I was amazed at the response "I love them. Thank you so much". I almost died. LOL That is an unbelievable, glowing endorsement for these Bamboo sheets. The pamphlet says that the more you wash them, the softer they get. I can't even imagine them being softer. I would HIGHLY recommend these sheets and will be buying different colors. Don't walk....RUN and hit the 'add to cart' button NOW~ ... show more

    • Extremely Soft, Deep Corner Pockets, Similar to Silk Feel

I purchased the white queen size sheets. They were packed very well. I always wash new clothing and bedding items before use. This type of sheets do require a little more care washing and drying than cotton sheets, gentle cycle wash and cool air drying. Coming out of the package they felt a little stiff. But, I followed the directions and they came out extremely soft. The instructions do indicate ironing, if required. They did come out quite wrinkled. But, I do not find this objectionable. I do not iron sheets and can live with them appearing wrinkled when first put on the bed, as this relaxes very quickly. As a note, sheets which do not require ironing generally have man made fibers included or are otherwise chemically treated to reduce the need for this. The fitted bottom sheet has a very generous corner pocket and easily fit my double pillow top mattress. This is a real plus, as most sheets I have owned were straining to cover it properly, and many pulled off on the corners periodically. I am sure I will not have that problem with these. They fit very well. As to sleeping and overall feel, which is probably why you are reading this review, I find these very similar to silk. They are light weight, as to feel, and, similar to silk, are woven from thread which is spun with extremely fine fibers. To clarify, silk can be woven to appear shiny and slick or natural, as found in men's shirts and other clothing items. The latter feel applies to these sheets. If you have dry skin on your hands, for example, it will catch very slightly if you rub your hand across these surface of the sheet, just like it will on silk. I do not find this objectionable. It is simply a property of the material. It is the same effect as on microfiber cloth. The sheets also are extremely pliable and will closely follow surfaces they are laid upon. So, the feel is lighter in structural weight than you might imagine for sheets of this thickness. I contrast these to the thicker cotton sheets I had on the bed previously. With those sheets, you could grab a tuft of sheet and stand it up, self supporting, to make a small "tent." You can't do that with this material. The sheets are extremely soft, as to feel. This I really like. I have never owned actual silk sheets. But, the closest comparable sheets I have slept on are probably very soft Jersey sheets. This is an out of the box, first use review. Durability will come later. But, so far the quality seems very good and they appear to be an especially good value. ... show more
