These panties are the classic, really high waisted granny panty with full coverage everywhere. You will ha e panty lines but the good thing is they stay up, don't ride, fold or dig in your skin and they're very comfy. I ordered these according to the size chart, instead of my usual size that I get in other brands. I was afraid they would be too small, however, they fit perfectly. Size 8 (XL) fits my 5'7", 170 lb body just right. They come up to my belly button, and fully cover my backside. The material is mostly cotton, and is soft, and stretchy, but not silky at all. They do not ride up, or require tugging throughout the day. They also did not cause me to have the lines/indentions in my skin from wearing tight elastic all day. In fact, they are very comfortable. Because they do come up to my belly button, there are some pants that I can't wear them with, but, I will wear these most everything else. I washed and dried them in the washer/dryer with my other clothing, and they tolerated this well, and did not shrink.

As I’m getting older certain things are getting a little larger and I’m very aware of panty lines. I don’t like how they look through clothing. I’ve been experimenting with a few different shapes and types of underwear to see what works the best and how the sizes change and affect panty lines. Bali calls this shape of underwear “cut fit full coverage”. I had truly not expect that they would come up about 2 inches above my belly button. When I first opened the package in an XL, I was also horrified as I thought that these were just tremendously too big for me. Sadly they are not. I am a size 13/14 jeans in a standard or sometimes a junior size , ( not a women’s or Missy size). AsI said, some things have gotten larger over the years and sadly these fit …not baggy loose. I likely could have gone down to a size large, but I believe the way the elastic is made on these that I would have ended up with a line. I have added pictures showing the dimensions of the XL size. Everything about these in my opinion is well made with the exception of the seam in the front of the crotch. It is still well sewn but on all three pairs, the seam has either twisted meaning that it is facing upwards on one side and downwards on the other where it connects to the leg seam or one it was pinched. I can’t think of a reason this would be intentional. For this reason, I am rating this product 4 stars. I hope my thoughts and photos help.

These are truly full coverage! They are soft, cover my entire rear, and are mostly comfy. The only thing I don't care for are the elastic edges. These can be somewhat scratchy for me. I've already washed/dried and they were just fine. True to size!

These are super high-waisted briefs that hike way up on me. So definitely give granny panty vibes! They are comfortable and breathable though. And Bali is a trusted brand so i expect them to hold up. They washed well and softened a bit in the wash. I thought it was weird they came in a bag not hooked together and only one pair had tags on though.

Remember that scene in Bridget Jones with her really big underwear? 🤣 I followed the size suggestion & ordered these in size 6, though I likely could have been fine in a size 5. I'm 5'1", about 130lbs, and have a long torso for my size. Most of my pants are size 6. Even with these factors, these panties are VERY high waisted. I mostly wear high waisted jeans and need a minimum of an 11 inch rise to cover my belly button, and these were even higher than that! This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it was really unexpected that these were so long. I also have a pretty shapely rear, and even that didn't cut down on the length (though I really appreciate that all of my backside is fully covered with these). The cotton is soft, breathable, and has a good amount a stretch without any sort of control top hold. I expect that these will be of the same guys quality as other undergarments from Bali. Overall, a nice, comfortable 3 pack of underwear, but definitely be advised of the long length.
