    • A Fun Balancing Toy for Kids
This set worked well for us, setup was a piece of cake, even with excited kids circling it went together in a couple of minutes, they were packed well and stored just as easily back in the box when you're done. We experienced none of the problems with pieces connected as others did, or anything uneven. Our set went together as expected and was stable. It was fun for the kiddos to play on, but lost its wow factor quicker than I would have hoped. They take up quite a bit of space when set up, and even storing them, the box is pretty large so make sure you're prepared for what you're getting. This is a great toy for kids to learn balance the only downside is there are no instructions whatsoever so you kind of just have to figure it out once you get it set up and then on the slips things on the bottom it’s great for kids

Here is what I love about the balance stepping stones: *The bright colors and shapes *The textured surface *It gets the kids up and moving Here is what I found frustrating: *It is a little off and cannot be assembled into a circle as advertised. As you can see in the second photo there is a small gap. If you try to force it, other pieces in the circle come apart. *The pieces hook together but do not lock so that it comes apart easily as the children are using it. *The little rubber feet come off as it gets scooted around. Edit: The company did reach out to me (I love good customer service) and suggested I arrange the pieces in a different order. I tried that and had other family members try it too, but it still had a small gap and came apart when trying to force the gap closed. They also suggested pushing the rubber feet in more firmly. After over an hour trying to get this thing together in a ring like the pictures, we finally got it together (it took two people) and due to the non-fitting issue, it doesn’t sit flat at all, the outer feet don’t even touch the floor because it bends towards the center to compensate for the poor fitting. The connectors are just little L shaped ledges. It doesn’t snap in or anything. You have to twist the piece to get both ledges aligned and in. Doing so, unhooks the previous one. And it’s just a vicious cycle. You also end up popping out the feet trying to force the pieces together. When trying to put two halves together and when trying to have all but one piece in, you can clearly see it doesn’t fit right, the angles of the edges to each other are clearly wrong. You then have to try to pull the rest of the circle apart to try to get the edges to square up, which then unhooks other pieces. We finally got it together by having one piece out, hooking one side in, and having one person stand on the connection of one side and the person hooking it in sit on the connection of the part you’re hooking the last piece into where it connects to the next one, to prevent any movement of the pieces on either side of the last piece. Then forcing it to bend and forcing it in. Then we pushed on and walked along the entire thing to make sure all were tightly hooked in, and with ever step the other pieces shift to compensate for the lack of space. When we stepped back we noticed it’s bending inward to compensate for the wrong angles and lack of space, so much so that the outer edge feet are lifted a half inch off the floor. If you even bump this thing, pieces disconnect. Terrible design. You could make a wavy line with this but that’s about it. Definitely cannot make it a circle unless you want these problems. ... show more

This is a fun balance board for my 3 year old who seems to really enjoy it. The only thing is I can’t get the last piece in place without the others popping out of place.

    • Love these and my little one loves them
First off this review is for the SQUARE not circle set, as I noticed a lot (basically all) of the negative reviews where for the circle set and not the square set. So I didn't have any of the problems that the circle set had of it being hard to put together or being uneven on the bottom part. For the item itself, my 4 year old loves them. I set it up in a straight line and she had so much fun walking back and forth on it. It even held my weight (250ish) when I showed her how to do it without any trouble. It snapped together and was easy to put together, even my elderly parents could do it. It is long/big when set up so it does take up quiet a bit of room but it's worth it for the endless hours of enjoyment my little one gets from it, not to mention helping with her balance without her noticing. I'm not sure how long it'd hold up outside in the weather, as it's only been used inside and I haven't gotten the yard set up to be a play yard for my little one just yet. But since it is plastic, I don't see it holding up that well just out in the elements without some care of being covered or put up when harsher weather is around. ... show more

    • Won't stay snapped together
These provide great fun for our 1- and 3-year-old granddaughters, but they will not stay snapped together, which breaks the circle and the fun.
