We've been trying to get an idea of the carat and cut I would like for an engagement ring, and I found this size and style to be appealing, so decided to give it a try. The ring is beautiful with a round center stone and subtle pear cut side stones - I really love the three stone style of this ring, although I'm not sure about the pear cut of the side stones. In general, I've not been a fan of the pear cut style, although that's been mostly in instances of the pear cut stone serving as the center stone, so it was interesting to consider it as an option in a more horizontal, side stone setting such as this. I actually liked that more than I would have thought initially. The overall setting is also quite lovely, albeit simple and understated! The ring fits well and the stones are not set up top high. Would prefer moissanite over CZ, but as this was more experimental discovery regarding size, style, and setting, that's not a very big deal to me.
