Hasn’t been a review in a couple years so I figured I would provide an updated review! DELIVERY- I was nervous about ordering due to all the damage issues people encountered. Mine came very well packaged, and no damage. There was also some quality control on this for sure as there may have been some sort of defect on the top tray which mfr tried to cover with paint? (Picture shown) I just used the other side. Other than that, everything looked great upon delivery ASSEMBLY - It took me 3.5 hrs to put together by myself at 8 months pregnant. I also messed up drawers and was taking my sweet time so I think I could’ve don’t it in 3 or less, especially if I had help. Review the steps before diving in! Everything is well labeled and the stickers are even placed in areas so that you don’t have to remove! They all get covered up which I appreciate! Reviews mentioned the top tray mid wood piece makes the storage space too narrow, which I agree so I didn’t put that part in. Another review mentioned the tray sides come apart easily and is a safety hazard. and I encountered this just when installing. I grabbed my drill for this part to ensure the H11 parts were screwed on extra tight to capture the screw head and do not allow the sides to come apart, and really think that will do the trick for the long haul. I ended up going back around to all the H11 parts to secure them even more which I think will keep the dresser more stable over time. When I assembled the drawers I didn’t pay attn to left vs right side as I didn’t think it would matter, but there are micro pilot holes in which you screw the drawer glides to - pay attn to these so you don’t have to redo like me! CONS- The drawers only come out about halfway which I think will be quite annoying over time. Will have to pull bins out to reach back bins and I’m sure this will get frustrating at some point. The glides on inside of dresser come assembled on sides - might redo these in future as there is room. Only minor other thing is the back panel sides are not finished which you can see on the sides. I would recommend this dresser right now, but I do have concerns about functionality with the drawers. I’ll try to provide an update after babe comes to see if this is a problem. I did a TON of research before selecting this Greenguard Gold Certified Crib. I am so glad I did! I will say my husband struggled putting it together (just because 4 hands would have been easier at a certain point but he got it done solo). My baby has slept in it since around 3 months (bassinet prior) and we just moved the mattress down to the lowest option, around 11 months of age. We got the Naturepedic Breathable Organic Crib Mattress (2-Stage - Lightweight - Baby & Toddler Bed - with Protector Pad) to go with it, and are so happy we did. Honestly, this crib is great. I looked for cribs suitable for short parents too, since I'm only 5'2", and I will say I had a hard time putting baby in the crib when he was still so small (my arms would be as low as possible and I'd still have to lower him another inch or two without as much support to keep him from startling awake but that's just the 4th trimester for you!), but if you're my height or taller you'll be fine. it really is an awesome crib. A friend of mine got a different but reputable brand, but hers started chipping paint when her little one would knaw on the top of the rails. Mine hasn't tried chewing on it yet but many reviews noted no paint chippage, which was so important to me. I love the white color, it's a classy looking crib, and we'd get it again in a heartbeat! ... show more
