This has served us in all the ways we hoped. Excellent, but then it's Montessori, no surprises, right? The texture and designs, colors...everything is just perfect. We love it. We bought this set for our 6 month old to start exploring more shapes and stacking. This set was excellent! As a small baby he was mesmerized by the spinning fidgets and then as he got older he loves them on our fridge. He learned to stack items with the blocks and round set. Which are also great for teething. He has been OBSESSED with the little eggs. He used to just play with them and clap them together but now that he’s getting older taking them apart and putting them back together is fu. As well. Great toy but not great quality. I bought this to use for my 10 month old as we travel for the holidays and it is serving its purpose. We took it to a gathering with kids aged 10months to 5 years and they all were playing with different pieces of it. However…the container it came in broke very quickly but was still usable. Shortly after that some of the toy pieces have begun to break but it’s still getting played with frequently. ... show more

Great assortment! One of the colored shapes in the eggs separated from the egg while my little one was playing with it. This is definitely a choking hazard so supervise your child while playing with the eggs.
