This was perfect for camping in Colorado this summer. The only thing I didn’t love about it was that it was tight across the back of the shoulders and the arms were short. For such a big sleep sack, the arms didn’t seem to match size wise. But I do like that the arms are detachable with snaps. If you've ever been camping with a baby before, you know how hard it is to sleep. My kiddo has been sleeping through the night since early one, but I tried a camping trip with him in his packnplay with just blankets and several layers of pjs...turned into a him-lying-on-my-face-all-night kind of sleep. Weather has started to warm up a bit in Colorado and my wife and I were looking to take our little guy (3mth old) on a little outdoor adventure. We've had good luck with the other product in the baby deedee line so we figured we'd give this one a chance. Even with it warming up a bit, it was still chilly and this quilted version really kept him warm. We also liked the fact that we didn't have to take it on and off as we transitions thanks to the buckle holes. From a fit standpoint, it seemed just about perfect and my guess is that it's going to be a comfy option for our son for the foreseeable future as he still had some room to grow into it. All in all, we're really happy with it and would recommend it for anyone looking for something with a little extra warmth and comfort. I rarely write reviews, but I am going out of my way to let you know that this item saved our camping trip! I was on the fence about buying this item as it is not cheap, but I went with my mommy instincts and purchased it before our fall camping trip. We live in New York, and as we were going to be camping in October, I knew that the temperatures would be dropping very low overnight. Well, as prepared as I thought that I was, our tent heater blew out as we were going to sleep. My husband suggested that we pack up camp right then and there and make the hour and a half trip back home. Our 11-month old little guy was beyond tired at this point, so I reached in the bag for this sleeping bag and it SAVED US. The temperature dipped down to 48 degrees that night, but our little guy was toasty warm in a short sleeve onesie, fleece sleeper, large halo fleece sleep sack AND this sleeping bag on the very top (also a hat). He slept through the entire night snug as a bug. If you are a camping family, as we are, this is a MUST HAVE! I purchased the medium as our guy is about 20 pounds (for size comparison, it is about the same size as the large halo sleep sack). I will be purchasing the larger version of this sleeping back for when he is older! Five stars ... show more

This seems well made. We have other sleep sacks of this same brand and love them- they are super soft and hold up very well. This is pretty thin. We bought it for camping and it could possibly work if baby has other layers underneath to bundle up better. My main complaint is that the sleeves are very short. They are only one inch longer than the sleeves on a 12 month onesie- for a bag that is supposed to fit 18-36 months, that seems extremely short. ... show more
