Size up! We did matching cow costumes for Halloween and this was a hit! So soft! Initially I had my son in long pants and a long sleeve underneath this because it was a cold night, halfway though the evening he ended up in shorts and a tank top underneath. It's very warm which I should have expected with how thick it was. The full zipper is great, it made the clothing change and diaper changes super easy! I went with the normal size I would get for my sons clothing, I think sizing up would have been a benefit. The torso portion of the costume is a little short. We were deciding on this or an astronaut costume for our 2 year olds first trick or treat. We ended up going with a fleece astronaut button up costume, but because this one was so comfortable and cute we kept it just for fun. It’s a loose fit so can fit smaller littles or those that might be taller for their age. The material is extremely soft and perfect for a chilly fall night - might be too hot to wear in warmer weather though. This was so soft, the material is warm but not too thick. My son cannot wait to be this for Halloween, we are all going to be dinosaurs! And he has had much fun with this already. I would size we could’ve gone up one more size as it was a little short. But overall fits okay in other places!
