It clips into your hair, and is as good as you would expect for the price. I bought it for my wedding. I still have a few months until the financial contract agreement occurs with my significant other. I love the color black and loathe long veils. This is the ideal veil for me. Since my hair is short, it is a little bit of a challenge to have it clipped firmly into my hair, but it depends on your hairstyle.

as someone has previously stated, i wish that the bird cage portion of the veil was a bit longer. i have straight bangs and it went down to just at my eyebrows which you couldn't really see over my bangs. overall the clip worked really well in my hair, never slipped or fell out and i would definitely recommend.
