We’ve bought expensive bats and cheap bats. Axe bats always seem to be solid performers without breaking the bank. The name on the barrel of a bat doesn’t make the hitter, don’t buy into the marketing and social hype. Get out and practice!

The media could not be loaded. Ok guys. Here is an honest review from one softball mom to the other. (No freebies in exchange for good reviews.) This bat really surprised me right out of the box. We had never used an Axe bat before today. We did a test run in the backyard and all the balls went over the fence. It came out of the box hot. I just spent $400 on a Demarini for my older girl and now she wants this Axe bat which is what I purchased for her lil sister (7 years old). We are a big fan. Good price! Love the grip! Update: 7yr old hit a home-run at practice with this bat on the first week of having it. ... show more

It’s pretty, it’s light, and feels good. But it sure does hurt your hands after hitting a ball. My girls will hit one ball and then go back to their other bats. They really wanted to like this bat.
