In general, I am satisfied with this purchase. The shoes are light weight, are true to size, and perfect for working out in a health club or for walking. However, owing to the cushioning, I would not recommend these for jogging, as the support is mediocre at best. However, for the price, the shoes are ideal for using them inside a club. Also, unlike most jogging shoes that have removable inserts, this pair has glued-in inserts, thus leading to their destruction when trying to remove them. These Avia running shoes are by no means top of the line, but for $20, they're well worth the price. I honestly bought them mostly match an outfit, which my gf pointed out ended up matching my pick up just by chance lol. The shoes feature a decent memory foam insole, lightweight foam soles, and a foamy somewhat shiny mesh upper. They get a little warm on runs, but overall performed well. I've done a 6 mile outside jog and a few miles on the treadmill so far. No real complaints. I don't think I'd use them as cross trainers due to their construction. I'm not into trendy shoes. I have my own aesthetics. Do for me to comment on the look, I like them. But what's really important is that they're really comfortable for the price. They seem like they'll hold up a lot longer than most expensive cross trainers.
