    • It is made from a lot of regrinds so it falls apart

The things are made from regrind recycled plastics. On the surface this seems oh so green - - yes? It's not. Each recycle puts a plastic through multiple heat cycles where it is heated to the melt point around 700F to reform it into pellets and then even hotter to shoot it it into a mold. Each heat cycle degrades the plastic materials enormously causing the molecules to begin unzipping. The amount of regrinds in these fake trees is so great that in the cold in the teens F the things are so brittle that a stiff breeze can shatter pieces off them. ... show more

After the Texas freeze of 2020 several of my landscape shrubs died. I came across these bushes on Amazon.com and decided to give them a try. The box of two fake Cypress shrubs arrived within two days as promised. As I unboxed them I was immediately taken with how realistic they appeared. I "planted" them in two large planter urns and placed them on either side of the driveway by the garage door where 2 large bushes used to reside before the freeze. They look great and are virtually impossible to tell from the real thing when viewed from the street. This particular item comes in 3', 4' and 5' versions. The media could not be loaded. Like I said in my short video…… when your heavy handed and handling these types of things expect to brake some branches I made a mistake and broke off one but with my creative thinking process I fixed it but anyway this product is amazing for what it is and it looks beautiful at my front door I had been looking for months for something to fit here and everything died but these won’t 😂 Christmas is coming and they will be lit up and decorated along with the garland on my door 🚪 ... show more

They arrived faster than expected and they did look plastic when I opened the box. BUT, when I took them out I decided to try to fluff them like you would a Christmas tree when you take it out. These leaves aren't bendable like a Christmas tree, but my idea worked. They came flat in the box, but as I fluffed them, they started to look a little more real.they look good! The plants are pretty. However, they are top heavy. When placing them outside, they get blown over by the wind. When they fall over, the “pieces/ leaves” fall off. I have several that have come off and I can’t see where to put them back on the plant.
