I really like this product. It goes on smooth and easy. It blends really well. It has a nice neutral scent and texture. It’s not oily at all and mine is not gritty at all either. I wonder if it could be a different formulation than some of the others have received? Also, mine has no white cast Zero. I do have pretty light fair skin though. But honestly, I applied it right in front of the mirror and it was completely invisible. I do use it pretty sparingly though, so I’m not putting a thick coat of it on. About a penny size amount to start and then another penny size amount to complete the coverage and that’s all. I love this product so far but will update my review if I notice any drying out of my skin ... show more

It really blends in so well, is so sheer! Impressive for a mineral sunblock, & also doesn't dry out my skin like other sunblocks. Seriously sheer even on darker/olive skin tones.

I have fair (but not pale) Asian skin. It leaves a noticeable white-cast on application for the first 20 minutes, and for my friend, who is Black and darker than me, makes her look Ashy (even after 20 minutes.) Keep looking, POC. I usually sweat it out since I work in humid, 90°F weather. I don't normally burn, so I can't speak to how well it would protect sun-sensitive skin. This leaves a matte, non-greasy finish even when I reapply every 2 hours. Dulls your complexion. This is an Okay sunscreen. I wouldn't buy it again. ... show more

    • Leaves a dreadful white cast and strong smell.
I know that most mineral sunblocks leave a white cast but this is one of the worst I've seen. Although the product is liquid and somewhat "milky" it's still thicker than the Japanese liquid sunblock or the Cetaphil brand. I shook the bottle vigorously to make sure the product was well mixed and yet the white cast is embarrassingly noticeable and it didn't go away even after I rubbed it in and massaged my face several times. If you're a guy with a bit of stubble, don't even try. It will leave your stubble looking as if you had lots of dandruff stuck or as if you had just snorted tons of cocaine that fell all over your upper lip area and chin. The product also has a very strong mineral smell that made me sneeze. I ended up having to wash my face several times to get remove it as soon as possible.
