This is so easy to use on my then 6 month to now 1 year old. He likes when I put it on him he laughs and thinks he needs to lick it though so watch out for that lol. So much easier to apply and reapply than liquids or creams, he is too impatient for all that but too young for aresol sprays. This is the perfect thing for sun protection. I bought this sunscreen for this summer and absolutely love how easy and convenient it is to put on my child's skin. She has sensitive skin, but it has not broken out her skin or caused any rashes. In addition, the roll-on feature makes it easy to reapply throughout the day. I liked it so much that I bought the adult version for myself. One thing I would like to mention, it will roll on slightly white when you apply it. I just gently tap my fingers on the skin, the product sinks in pretty quickly and the white cast goes away. This is the best idea ever! One of my children is 3 and has some sensory issues related to touch; he definitely hates when I have to rub things on his face. He tolerates this so much better than liquid sunscreen and it provides good protection. Very little rubbing in needed! Easy to use and same great protection as other Aveeno kids sunscreens. I will continue to pay more for this as I mostly just use it on the face, but it is great for anywhere!! ... show more

I like that this sunscreen stick goes on like deodorant and makes application on my 4yr old easier. She now insists upon applying to herself so it has fostered some level of independence.

Goodness gracious. Have you ever put liquid sunscreen on a child? "Ow, it's in my eyes!" "Ow, you're pulling my hairs!" "This feels weird on my skin!" "I thought I was done already!" It's like bathing a cat, or trying to squeeze a family of badgers into a box. When my wife showed me that she bought a wipe-on stick-style sunscreen for our toddler, it was like the sun shown brighter and angelic music started out of no where and everywhere at once. I used it to sunscreen our two year olds face, ears, neck, arms and legs and set him on his way, then on to our 6 year old. Yes. I was able to sunscreen him without complaints or exasperated looks for maybe the first time ever. It doesn't feel weird on your skin afterward. It doesn't have a weird odor. It holds up well in the sun and after washing. You don't look like a ghost with it applied. I'm literally blown away by these roll on sunscreens. Had we not purged our house after the recent "sunscreens have bad chemicals in them" news stories this year, and my lovely wife, I'd never have known these miracle things existed. Please go try it.
