Twelve years ago, my husband bought me a beautiful, expensive engagement ring set for our wedding, but I genuinely didn't want to lose it or have it stolen. It's too important to me, and it was way too expensive to just be walking around with it. So starting from when I was pregnant with our first child (when my fingers swelled and my ring stopped fitting) I started buying high quality, low cost dupe rings that matched the appearance of my wedding ring, rings that I didn't have to worry about losing, getting cut off while in labor, or getting robbed of while traveling alone, etc. The key was to always find inexpensive rings that don't look like they came out of a plastic egg from a quarter machine, while at the same time behaving like a real diamond engagement set. And I've become very picky over the years. This moissanite ring by Avecon has met all my standards. It's solidly-made with a good weight, and absolutely no bending or warping. I've been wearing it 24/7 for about six weeks and I can confidentially say that this is a quality ring. I have gone through many ring options over the years, conducting trial and error tests, and I have found only a few that stand the test of three things: time, my hair, and chlorinated water. This ring has passed all three with flying colors. My skin has not turned green or had any texture changes. And the ring itself remains in pristine condition, after gardening, swimming, showering, snagging it about a million times on my thick, curly hair, washing dishes, etc. No chipping, dulling, warping, or loosening of the gem in any way. It's still as solid and gorgeous as the day it arrived. Quality is outstanding. That all said, I'd like to add that it's a very pretty ring. It has a simple, elegant design with a large, bright, shiny4 carat lab-created moissanite gemstone that looks near identical to my original diamond set. But it's not so big as to appear gaudy or flashy. The gemstone and band width are in perfect proportion to each other. Overall, it makes for a classy, pretty ring. I've gotten several compliments on it. And the fit is perfect. I have fat fingers so I got an 8, my usual size. Also, the presentation--color and quality of the ring box--is also nice, right on par with the price level of the ring. Overall, it's a great inexpensive, quality alternative to wearing a diamond engagement ring. For someone in the market, I'd definitely recommend.

This ring looks gorgeous in person, with a large stone that really protrudes out. I accidentally ordered a size ten, and since that’s nowhere near my size, it’s far too big to wear. It’s a lovely piece, but prop jewelry is probaly the best way to accurately describe it.

This ring is absolutely stunning. The quality of the stones and the setting is really good. The moissanite is beautifully clear with a great sparkle and the band is stamped 925 sterling silver. The main stone and all the side stones are secure in their settings, with no shifting. The silver band is bright and shiny with no scuffs or flaws. I am extremely happy with this ring and excited to wear it and show it off. Because it is 4ct, it does sit high on the finger. I absolutely love it.
