I mounted these to a 90’s vehicle with headlights that are sufficient but nowhere near as bright as modern lights. They definitely supplement the high beams and bring them up to par with modern cars. I usually use the lights on white only, but the amber mode is helpful in bad weather since it doesn’t glare as much as white. Interestingly, these lights have a mode where you can run white and amber simultaneously which softens the color temperature to about the same as the regular headlights, only far brighter. There are also flashing modes which I don’t need but people who do road construction, lane closures, etc could make use of. All of the wiring is included and it all plugs in so you won’t need to cut or splice any wires. All you have to do is run the wires through your bodywork and connect to the battery. If your looking at these and asking are they any good. I'm here to say that they quality is very good. I have them set to light up the sides of the country roads and now I don't think I could live without them. Bright but not to bright and the different mode option is great. Love switching to amber mode when the fog rolls in and I'm not creating a white out condition. Would I buy them again, yes, yes I would ... show more

These are more amber than a previous set from Auxbeam I purchased for my KTM. The light modes are useful and easy to control on the remote. I’d suggest installing them right side up if possible. It angles the light better. I tried upside down first and it would direct it into the eyes.

    • Good lights, mediocre wiring
For the price. I like the lights and think they are worth the money. They’re very bright, and the quality of the light seems very solid. My only issue is with the wiring. Seems cheap and like it won’t last. I have had some random issues with the wiring. Sometimes the lights look won’t power on. So I have pop the hood and the relay is clicking a lot. I wiggle it around a little and then the lights will power on. But with a disturbing amount clicking. Although I’ve been unable to verify if the relay is supposed to be mounted to a ground spot on the frame, it it’s just a bad really and I’ll need to replace it. Which I’m not happy about having to buy a replacement relay for a brand new set of lights. But it’s either that or having to pop the hood everytime I want to use these lights. They might just need to get returned. Time will tell. I’ll update my review. ... show more

The amber light is AMBER, which is excellent in fog and when you don't want to have the very intense white beams. The strobing function would freak anyone out even at an offroad event unless you had some music, liquid mind cleansing solution and dancing. They also can run amber and white which is brighter. ... show more
