This light bar is insane. I have the 50" curved 5D version. It's insanely bright and it might be too bright. It's devastatingly bright. I was a skeptic on this because it's so cheap and a rigid is so expensive...there has to be a reason? Right? I had KC spot and flood lights on the bumper and this bar makes them look like they're not even there. Completely ridiculous that a $150 bar outperforms over $500 in high end KC lights. The KCs are a complete waste. I can't even tell if they're on now. Of course within hours of finishing the installation, it started pouring rain and has rained for over 48 hours straight. No condensation, no leaks. No noise at highway speeds...I put door trim on the lower 4 heat spines on the rear. Wiring harness is sufficient. The wiring into the mouse switch is kinda shoddy (thin, 20ga cable) which sucked since I cut of the mouse switch to wire it into a real switch already in my truck. I could barely splice the wires since these were so thin. Overall I cannot imagine finding a better light bar and you certainly won't do it for the price. I'm going to pull the KC lights off and add a 20" to replace them (for $50)...then some of those 4" pods as backups. These are legit.

PROS: Excellent light dispersion between the flood and spot beams. The curvature of the bar matched the bumper. Quality of material used. No water leaks. CONS: The power cable was placed in the worst spot possible. I ended up ditching the original brackets and created my own using metal corner braces.. I used two washers between the light frame and bracket then secured the threads with Loctite. This allows the light angle to be adjusted from outside the grill. No waterproof connector included. This was a disappointment. I highly recommend purchasing the wireless controller in the picture. This was plug and play and has a operating distance of 100+ feet. I held back on installing until I came across the controller. I had it wired up within five minutes. (LED Light Bar Remote Control Switch, Wireless Controller Transmitter & Receiver On/Off Strobe Flash Pulse for LED Light Bar Wiring Harness Telecontrol)

Absolutely great bar! Super bright even during the day, and the spread is awesome, the spot down the road is great! Awesome beam pattern. Fish eye lenses are both great functionally and look way better in my opinion then so many others. Overall very satisfied. Had two problems with the bar though, arrived with some of the cooling fans bent (liked it had been dropped), and I could see some of the wiring inside behind the lenses hanging in front of the leds which is just poor quality control and manufacturing, however I spoke to the company and they offered a discount and I have been able to fix the problems myself and haven't had any problems since. Recommended ***Update 6 years later. This bar has been on my roof rack which has been on multiple vehicles for most of the last six years since ordered. A few things - the clear lens did fade, has been restored with a headlight restoration kit, and it does get moisture inside of it, so I've drilled two smaller holes on each side towards the bottom for the water to drain and the air to dry it out. But it has constantly worked, none of the LEDs have burned out, it has been through rain sleet snow sun and everything in between including a rock hit or two on the highway. If they would put a better seal in it, a better breather, and a higher quality plastic for the lens, this would be one of the best light bars out there for this size and price. Would definitely recommend still.

This light is nice and bright ...the 5D lens makes the spot beam shine further than those of none 5D lens. And the flood beam's of this light lights up the darkest side of the streets in the hood or out in the woods. This light is much brighter than the ANNT 50 inch that I bought from amazon but it's not 5D lens. But once I found out about 5D lenses. ..it was a must try for me and I'm glad that I did. There's a whistle noise that comes from the light bar while driving into the wind at different speeds, but I found out on YouTube the EASY FIX FOR IT. Just go to YouTube and type in light bar whistle fix. There are different methods but the one I used was the black car door edge trim, I put it on all of the fins of the light bar all the way across, it took 4 packs at 18ft in each pack. The loud whistle noise went away from 200 percent to 15 percent. There is another method that supposedly get rid of all the noise for good by using 2 strips of floor vinyl trim from lowes or homedepo at 48 inches each at the cost of 2 dollars each. I bought them but have not tried them yet. But all in all I do recommend this light bar over those 1000 dollar's and more light bars.

So I waited a while to be able to provide an accurate review since there was a mix of good and bad experiences. I have had the light bar installed on my truck now for a month and I can't be more impressed!!! I've driven 4,000 miles from the East Coast to the Mid West and back with it installed behind my grille and have gone through temperature changes, rain, fog, and 3 car washes without a problem. This 42" light bar turns night into day and will easily light up a road/highway but I wont use it with oncoming traffic since its too bright. I helped out my neighbor setting up a 5 wire fence around his 2 acre horse pasture and the flood/spot combo was able to project enough light over the whole area letting us finish working at 9:30 PM. Initial thoughts on the quality was great with its solid construction, large cooling fins, and clear lens. The packaging is good, the light bar was supported by 5 pieces of Styrofoam but the cardboard box had holes in it when it arrived (no pieces were missing). The wiring harness is included and comparable to the MIC Tuning (I bought it just in case) you will need solder-less terminals not included to finish the insulation. Overall I am now a fan or Auxbeam products!!!

Holly crap this is bright. Bring out the sun! Well focused beam. Just put it on last night and tested it out on a road with no lights. Winding forest road and a long straight stretch of road. This light amazed me. Kind of upset with my headlights afterwards. Turning it off makes your headlights look like candles. I watched a bunch of reviews on you tube and was sold. I will update when the light goes through this upcoming winter. Update 11/19 This light is still going strong like the day I installed it. Absolutely no moisture inside. Some of the paint on top has faded but the lense is still perfectly clear. I have seen many cheap LED light bars that the lense is completely yellowed, but not my auxbeam. My truck is outside in the California sun everyday. All LED’s are still working perfectly. I have many, many hours of use on this light and have been thoroughly impressed with it.
