I installed the Auxbeam 5" 168W LED Cube Pods onto my Jeep JKU Anniversary Steel Bumper. It was an easy install with some YouTube videos to help me snake the cables into the cab. The unused holes in the steel bumper were the perfect size to fit the mounting bolts on the pod lights, and there was plenty of room to reach under the top edge of the bumper to install the nuts with some Loctite. To snake the provided cable through the firewall, I had to remove the installed socket. This was easy to do by simply recessing the retainer clip on each pin, taking a picture of the wired connector before releasing the wires so I knew how to reassemble, snaking the connectorless cable through the firewall into the cab where the pins were then reinserted and locked into the connector. I dressed the cable by zip tie to the existing wire harness at the top of the engine bay. In the cab, I pulled the side panel from the dash (driver's side) and made a small hole for the cable in the panel. After cleaning the dash with alcohol, the adhesive-backed switch seems to hold nicely in place. The lights were very bright and did a great job of illuminating the front and sides of the trail ahead of me. No backlight on the switch, which is a necessity, and I dont understand why that feature is not present. Also, there is no through hole to mount as the adhesive back won't stay attached, so the lack of a mounting hole is a big negative as well.

I love how they light up the whole road and ditches for seeing running deer I. The road while driving, if I would of had these on my diesel I would have seen the guy with one dim headlight that hit me and my son head on and totaled my beautiful truck, which I’m still dealing with health and money problems because of it . If you can buy them now and get them on , there are so many people driving with one headlight these days these can save your life

Lights are very bright and held up to the rain nicely. Only 3 stars due to the switch not being water proof at all. It filled with water after 1 ride in the rain on my 4x4 quad. So I decided to return the lights since the switch didn't hola up and was charged a restocking fee....

Had a straight-forward question about hookup. There is no wiring diagram included in the kit. Although the wiring harness is fairly well put together, and conventional hookup is pretty uncomplicated, the company cannot provide the information about the wiring assignments (i.e. color coding and function assignment). Wanting to use my already-installed truck switches, I had simple questions about the harness that the company would not answer. So: Poor marks! The company should know enough about their products to inform the customer and answer their questions. If they don't know anything about their products, then they are not in a position to support them when something out-of-the-ordinary comes up, as it did in my case. I paid a lot for lights from a company that apparently does not provide technical support. EDIT: After a few rounds back-and-forth, I finally got an answer. The first response simply told me to use the kit 'as-is'. But after insisting, the company finally answered the question about the wiring harness color coding, so that I can proceed with the installation. For an after-market accessory product costing over $150, the kit should come with a wiring diagram and better customer support ! But I've increased the rating one star as I've finally received an answer.
