4.5 stars on this one guys. These lights really are great. I was a little apprehensive ordering, considering there was only one other review at the time, but you can rest assured these are great lights! I wanted something larger than 3 x 3 for my three-quarter ton truck, as those cube lights would look a little bit anemic, and this filled the bill perfectly! I only took half a star off, due to the hardware being less stout than it needed to be. One of the bolts that holds the light to the mounting bracket had its threads go bad and jammed up only after I had the light installed. I had to literally break the bolt out in order to replace it . These lights have all the throw that is advertised in them, the DRL and signal lights are amazing! I wired the DRL lights into a keyed circuit in my fuse box, so it runs white with the other DRL headlights during the day, then, wired the Amber turn signals to be DRL‘s at night, so as to match my other running lights. The focus on these beams aren’t quite spotlight, and aren’t quite floodlight. Quite frankly, they are perfect! They are brighter than the factory upgraded headlights on my truck, which is saying a lot, because those headlights are obscenely bright! These really are great with many purposes. I needed some scorched earth lights to hide up under the bumper of my 89 Land Cruiser. Work great, no hard lines in light, focused and can use them on the road without blinding folks. This light set from a well known manufacturer is a good set. In order to test the brightness I took the red and black wires and hooked to the battery. Nothing! Nada. I have never had this experience with any other light set where it refuses to light when connected to the battery . So I hooked the lights back up to the included wire harness with a relay and they did light up. They were bright. But none of the foreign made led light bars statement of wattage is anywhere near accurate. But I am concerned that you can’t use these lights by hooking up to your already existing wire harness which significantly decreases their utility. Any comments from the manufacturer are welcome in this regard. Why do they only work with the included harness? It’s a mystery to me. ... show more

These lights come with a harness that just plugs together. It has a switch and fuse installed so all you have to do is connect it to a battery and plug the ends together. Each light is 30w and the casing is metal with fins to help cool it. The light projects a good distance away. These lights are small enough that you can mount them just about anywhere. The beam is a flood type so it covers a wide area. They look like yellow lights when off, but they are clear white light when on.
