This shirt is a contradiction, but I still think I like it. The core part of the shirt is quite thick and heavy, making this a good choice for a winter shirt. But the sleeves are lace, and therefore have holes in-between the lace, so the sleeves are more for warmer or in between seasons. I think I will still like this, but I won't be wearing it as much as I anticipated. The shirt washed and dried well on delicate cycles. It is not a very soft material; it is a bit thick and has kind of a weird polyester feeling. Plus, the color that I got was WAY off form the color on the posting. My shirt is much redder and brighter than the posting shows for the Wine Red, which is disappointing to me.

I was excited to get this blouse – I love the casualness of the raglan-sleeve crew neck top with the dressed up details of lace sleeves, button cuffs, key-hole button collar in the back, and the detailed texture of the fabric. This top is easy to dress up, as well as being a casual top. The quality is good - stitching is nice, top-stitched over the seams of the sleeves to bodice, the neckline, and the construction of the cuffs are really nice. I ordered this in navy, and it’s a really nice color. The color of the lace matches the fabric of the bodice perfectly. I found the fit to be just right, using the size guide provided. That being said, It fell short for me in a couple of ways. First, the fabric choice of the bodice is stiff. It doesn’t drape nicely like it shows on the model. It’s not as thick as neoprene, but the feel of it reminds me of neoprene fabric. Second, I have long arms and these sleeves do not quite make it to my wrists. Unfortunately, the cuffs limit me from being able to pull up the sleeves like I do with other tops that are short on my arms, and the sleeves look ridiculous rolled up because of the lace detail. This top looks stiff and boxy on me, it gapes above my bust-line because of the stiffness (it acts like it needs darts), and the sleeves are awkwardly short on me. I still want to wear it, but I’m not as happy as my expectations for it were – my excitement waned as soon as I tried it on. If I tried this on in a store, I would not have purchased it.

I really like the true wine/maroon shade and the lace sleeves. It’s comfortable, but the material is thick and somewhat stiff. The blouse looks very nice with jeans and slim pants, but awkward to pair with skirts and slacks because it's too long and bulky to tuck in. Great quality for the price. I got a large and I’m glad a sized down. For reference my chest is a 38DD/40D and my waist is 34/35 inches.

I have "swimmer" shoulders/ arms, so I am not a fan of things tight in either area. So, this shirt is a little uncomfortable to me for that reason. It is a cute shirt with different textures on it...thus it isn't you plain Jane shirt. I just wish it was a little bigger for my self. I am sure this isn't a problem for other people. It would be a great office or going out shirt.
